[PMD AU] Mountain Luxio

We might have failed with the comic progression, but the climb is not fully over. Yet. You can now follow the story of Louise through her perspective (most of the time) by reading in PMD Fanfiction.

The first four, plus Chapter 5, has been released recently, and future chapters + paralogues will be uploaded once a month. Or twice, who knows.

In addition to Mountain Luxio, I have also decided to bring back an old AU from 2021, the AU that started it all. The Lucid Explorer, also posted in PMDFF:

It's been a few months. And I'm sorry for being unable to keep up with the comic work, mostly due to burnout and demotivation from continuing Mountain Luxio...

Its third year anniversary is drawing near, and to celebrate, I bring you a short chapter, where we stray away from the mountain, and into Louise's adoptive family.

Considering both Burst and Lumen's age, it's only rightful to have an adult such as Guildmaster Gallivant supervising and keeping an eye on these two, on top of having a Mountain Guide like the Charizard you see. His name is Roy, a character that may recur further in the story…

… at least that's what most people would say, like, Granny Celia. And, as I write this, it makes sense. I think I'm reaching the point where the climb is going too steep, and no matter how hard I tried to pull myself up to keeping on with this comic, I lose energy and motivation so quickly. Like a real climber would to a steep slope…

Art Fight has been fun lately, but at the cost of any progression done in the comic at all. Like I was only able to pick it up this last Wednesday this month. But now that I'm trying it again, it's just… hard for me to continue. This comic project has been super ambitious in fact since the start. In full color and shading? It's a lot… and I don't think I can keep up with it, especially with the constant reality checks I've been trying to hide from.

I am not a comic writer. I only started Mountain Luxio because I really love the story of Celeste, and the PMD-addicted me wanted to PMD-fy it and having my bias middle-stage weird blue lynx Pokemon as the main protagonist. In fact, it's meant to be a No-Eeveelution-Characters story to make it at least stand up to other PMD Comics. But I suppose that's why it failed to gain popularity and support from the audience… In fact, the whole idea is doomed to avalanche down from the start because of the ambitious art style I went with… So… I suppose for the sake of my already degrading sanity, I'm throwing the towel, and put this comic on hold until either… I pick it back up, or decide to forego the summit bid and start over.

To those who have followed this comic since the start of its journey in the now husk DeviantArt, especially those who backed it and me up thru Kofi and Patreon, thank you. Thank you for reading my comic. While this might spell the end of our Climbing Luxio's comic journey to the peak of Skyward Crown, her written story might continue. I will still finish Chapter 4 and put this comic in ice. Once again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading Mountain Luxio's Comic…
