I’m pleased to invite you to the +green concept seminar
“Green Urbanism and Future Cities connecting the EU Space”
which will be taking place on June 11, 2016
HKIG / Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers
11th Days of Licensed Civil Engineers
at Hotel Ambassador in Opatija in Croatia
In the framework of transnational EU author projects +Green Concept, + Green Spa and +Green Hotel and their implementation in Croatia from 2003 to 2016, the EU CASE STUDY/ EU BEST PRACTICE +GREEN CONCEPT 2003-2016 is interactively examined and verified as an transdisciplinary, scientific, professional and research foundation of all relevant layers of sustainability. Following the continuous, transnational sequence of achievements between the country of origin and the country of implementation, emerges a completely new innovate transfer of knowledge and business intelligence, with continuous gradation that represents benefits, savings and specific features for all stakeholders.
The + GREEN CONCEPT Author Project, which is the sum of scientific, professional, research and other practices, or in other words networking of the profession, knowledge and legislation based on the examples of the best EU practices, results in sustainable and responsible mid-term and long-term development, most notably in complex projects.
At the end 2014 Croatia, as the newest EU member state, was granted funds and subsidies from the EU structural funds to be used in the period 2014-2020. Therefore, beside this + Green Concept lecture and other lectures which
take part in the Opatija 2016 event, like the TRIPLE HELIX Author Projects Podsused and Topusko, the TRIPLE HELIX Author Project GREEN HIGHLAND LINK/ CABLE CAR ZAGREB-SLJEME-ZAGORJE/BISTRA will be presented in detail, as the case study for similar projects in Croatia and the EU with the aim to demonstrate new innovative solutions for improving the Croatian and the EU region respectively.
The project is focused on integrated inclusion of all developmental resources and harmonizing the so-called „green“ management of public and private initiatives which ultimately enables applications in other locations.
