And here's the second! ❤ ah, protective Louis... an absolute heater. I've already said my love for it before, I won't waste words saying it again 🙏 I will however say just how much I adore this piece! So many little details I never thought about that Buteq added, that just elevated this commission tenfold. Theres a reason I save some money every payday and it's so I got some spare change to comm them 🙇 There wasn't any real basis for why I choose this scenario for a comm, they just hit me up to see if I was open to get a commission and my greedy ass ain't ever saying no 😂 Also Todd wearing Louis's clothes... 🔥 (Again not my idea, amazing Buteq suggested it)

Maurecia: I lowkey think she'd react with anger, not out of a sense of 'This is wrong and gross', but more so 'Louis is stealing Todd!' Maurecia is the kind of character that is always focused on her own goal of winning/being first place, so in complex situations she's extremely short-sighted. She's also still a young kid so I imagine she isn't quite able to see the glaring issues of an adult with a student. Maybe if it were other characters she'd at the very least know it was wrong from a subconscious uncomfortableness, but with Todd all she'd feel is anger that Louis got to her crush first 🫣 and that anger/jealousy would blind any other logical voice in her head. When she sees them she gives some long-winded rant about losing Todd, and that she WILL get him back (Louis and Todd are in the corner dumbfounded because neither prepared for this outcome) Maurecia wouldn't tell anybody directly, but would let it slip venting to other students as a sort of "Can you believe them?!" Todd is doing damage control trying to find some way to appease Maurecia so she doesn't mention it to the wrong person(who WILL call the cops), and Louis would avoid her upsetting her and potentially causing a scene. All anybody in class knows is that now Todd is constantly hovering around Maurecia, Maurecia despises Louis, and Louis is nowhere to be found when she's around. I'd like to add that she kicks up her attempts to win Todd over by a thousand. Starts trying to prove that she can be a better significant other, and discredit Louis whenever she could. If she ever realized the severity of the situation a bit more, then she'd absolutely use it as blackmail to get Todd to be her 'boyfriend'. We love an entrepreneur 🙂‍↕️ Also she punches Todd at least once before leaving the closet. I know that in my heart.

Myron: He was one of two characters I placed considerable thought into their reaction. And after much consideration I think he'd fall into a similar sort of category as Maurecia in that he's too young (and stuck inside his own world) to really get the ramifications of Louis and Todd. He'd see them kissing and be like "Oh, my bad!" and leave with out much fuss. Todd would confront him later to talk about earlier and Myron would brush it off because anything that doesn't immediately affect him is NOT his concern 💯 It's only when he realizes that he can benefit from the situation, e.i have Louis and Todd bend over backwards in order to keep him appeased so he doesn't spill their 'secret', that he becomes interested in the ordeal. Truly an underrated reaction that most people don't consider is a character who discovers a secret relationship doesn't immediately think "I needed to get the police!" but instead goes "How can this benefit me personally?" He'd for sure spill the secret, not out of any kind of malice, but because it would simply come out without much thought. I imagine he'd walk back any statement real quick once he realizes he'd lose out on all the privileges he gained, though I don't think many people would believe him to begin with lol. Todd is constantly doing this to Myron whenever he thinks the other boy is getting too lose lipped.

Dana: Would actually be very unnerved by it, and would take it the hardest. She loves her rules, and I know damn well that rule book has to have a few rules regarding inappropriate adult to student contact. She'd be seconds away from snitching to every authority figure in the school. But I think what would get to her is her emotional side peaking out because of her friendship with Todd. She *knows* that relationships like these in general are wrong and should be reported, but Todd tells her how happy he and Louis are, and why would she put some ink on paper above his happiness? I do think she'd end up keeping it a secret after lots of 'reassuring' from the two but she'd absolutely be eaten alive by the guilt. Not just from breaking the rules but from also because she feels like their relationship is going against everything she 'knows'. To expand, she trusts books to tell her of all the facts, to act as her guide and inform her of different topics. And all her books say that situations like these are wrong, but Todd and Louis don't fit into the categories that the books talk about, so who's right? She in general also hates lying so that's not helping either. When she inevitably tells people it's sudden and explosive, because she can't handle holding it in anymore. Like screaming it mid-class or at family dinner. Just an absolute disaster. Todd and Louis know this will probably happen, so when they can they basically hover around Dana and mentally beg her to lock in.

Ms. Jewels: Second character that had me thinking for a really long time. She had me absolutely stumped because on one hand, she is is a teacher. An adult who at this point in their career should absolutely be against any relationship of the sorts and shut it down immediately. On the hand, she's Ms. Jewels. Someone who is wildly illogical and misses the big picture even if she's standing right in front of it. So tentatively in this situation I would say she'd stick her usual unashamed optimism and be happy for them. Like, objectively she knows these relationships are wrong, but Louis and Todd hit her with the "But we love each other :(" so in her mind if they're both happy, who is she to put an end to it? Overall she's just more in line with the emotional aspect of things rather than factual. She wouldn't consider any of the ethical implications and would probably argue they were fated by destiny or how secret love is *so* romantic. Now if she witnessed Todd in any actual distress or sensed he was being mistreated, than yeah she would absolutely step in and protect. But she'd have to actually hear it/witness it because otherwise any signs would just slide right past her. So like... Still not getting any points in that regard. Otherwise I'd think she try and 'celebrate' to the confusion of Todd and Louis who would have to stop her at every turn. Louis would be so much more worried about her saying something because she's an adult. You can brush off a kid saying weird stuff as kids having an active imagination but an adult? And unlike her most other Wayside teachers wouldn't be as forthcoming. She's just a bit more ditzy and opened to other possibilities. And for sure would be like Myron and accidentally let it slip without meaning too lol. Also throwing in she'd probably tease Todd and Louis all the time. If she saw them together she's shouting 'don't go hiding in the broom closet again! Todd has to present later today!' to the dumbfoundment of everyone else and the absolute horror of Louis and Todd.

Principal Kidswatter: He reminds me so much of Cameron Campbell from Camp Camp, just a tad bit less greedy and scammy. They'd be great friends in my opinion. As such, him discovering Todd and Louis would have him thinking 'The paper work!' and little else. He's only concerned with his bottom line and getting a bad reputation with his higher ups. Plus, Louis is his best worker, and he really doesn't want to get the man in any trouble that would cause him to leave Wayside. Who would fix his mic then? Or keep his ice rink cool? He'd stoically inform the two to follow him to his office, where both would be sweating bullets thinking cops are about to called. And it'd go like this;

Mr. K: You two know why you're here.

L+T: Because we were making out in the broom closet? :(

Mr. K: Exactly. Louis, what do you have to say for yourself?

L: Mr. K, the whole thing... I wasn't think and it just-

Mr. K: My mic was broken and for 20 minutes I couldn't find you! How can I run the school when you're constantly sneaking off?

L: Uh... Sorry?

Mr. K: And in an unlocked closet? I'll tell you, back in my hayday we used to-

L: I feel like your concerned over the wrong things here.

Bottom line, doesn't care. He just wants to ensure Louis won't do anything to mess up the schools ability to function and otherwise would leave it alone. Would definitely call Todd a temptress in passing though when talking to Louis. "Dont let that little temptress make you forget you have duties!" Honestly he just seems like someone who would be super victim blamey in general :v Louis is offended on Todd's behalf.

Miss Mush: Decide to add her too for fun. A lot like Ms. Jewels, unashamedly happy for them (way to happy). She see them kissing and is like "Just like couples from motherland! ᐠ( ᐢ ᵕ ᐢ )ᐟ" and offer to bake them mushroom surprise to celebrate. She could be sworn to secretary but is for sure teasing them and honestly a bit obvious. Giving Louis tips to 'impress' Todd and trying to give Todd cooking lessons to, as she puts it, solidify himself in his heart. Todd is worried about liquidfy it with her cooking. Heart is in the right place for her but morals are just way off centered. Still, she would step in if she suspected Louis was mistreating Todd, but other wise is living life in her own corner of the school.
