i really really want a laptop but can’t justify buying that when i already have a perfectly good tablet that was given to me several years ago still in mint condition (and it’s humongous too, it was one of the first ipads and the screen is bigger than many laptops i see students using). i have a good case with a bluetooth keyboard for it and it does well enough for most things. plus my PC that’s been chugging along for years now as well. a laptop would just feel so much better to use….but if having to use an experimental version of RStudio during class last semester for data analytics couldn’t inspire me to buy a laptop, i just need to put up with my dissatisfaction for as long as i can…i hate using an ipad but paying minimum $400 for some laptop is of course even worse. and considering my phone keeps randomly restarting and has a lot of other problems i probably will actually need to buy one of those at some point. and i definitely dont have the luxury of getting both. well i could, but i like saving money when possible. or spending it on my gf

i drove 30 minutes and walked 20 minutes on a day i don’t even have school for this meeting and to start my work study and not only was the meeting rescheduled (email was sent about 5 min after i left my house) but the professor for my work study isn’t even here today 😭

My gf designed some flyers for an irl DnD group and I've put several of them up so far in buildings around my campus and minutes after I put the first one up she received an email from someone who was interested :D

I honestly can't relate to people who are freaking out about trump and musk rn. Trump's first presidency was the first time I could vote and that entire year felt surreal with trump + the Pokemon go debut and all the weird news stories about killer clowns stabbings everywhere? So I went through my phase of thinking the world was ending then. A few years later and I'm going through the same thing when covid hits and I'm going through personal crisis after crisis at the same time. Now I know the world isn't going to end and there's nothing I can do about it anyway. I got too much shit to do to be pissing myself with fear rn. It was always just an excuse to sit around smoking weed and not do anything with my life. I remember when trump got elected in November last year and my TA who was quite a few years younger than me and who always tried to bond w me walked in with a puffy face and asked sarcastically "how are you today" and I just said cheerily "I'm great ^-^" and she just stared at me until I realized she wanted to complain about trump being elected. Nothing surprises me anymore and I have a gf to fuck sorry..

Literally went to bed last night craving a tall glass of cold milk with 2 servings of peanut butter powder, not mixed in fully so there were chunks of PB on the top. Had it this morning for breakfast 👍 and used sweetened vanilla almond milk...this is truly the good life
