I am very pleased with how it came out. This is a hand lettered and illustrated logo.

The logo and Youtube end cards for a woman who documents her homesteading! This was a fun project to work on, the house in the logo is the over 100 year old farmhouse they bought and are restoring.

Got to design my sister in law's wedding suite for this past weekend. It was a beautiful wedding and was a joy to work on for them. :)

A logo I worked on for my sister-in-law who is studying to become a doula. We decided on cool and calming colors along with the motif of growth and health. The three leaves symbolize two parents and the new child they are welcoming into their family. The three berries symbolize the same relationship but with the addition of the fourth berry being the doula who has come along with them on their birth journey. 

Designed another recipe page for a meal my husband and I make quite often. It was inspired by Youtuber haegreendal. Her video URL is included in the page. We made a few adjustments so it has become a pseudo bibimbap but with noodles. The photo is one I took early on with one of our tries. All of the colors in the meal are so pretty! 

T-shirt designed for Camp Marriott, a Scouts of America camp where many members of my family have worked at over the years. This year’s t-shirt was special since they couldn’t have camp in session because of COVID. It was an honor and super fun to design based on the beautiful scenery of beloved Lake Merriweather and the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Logo designed for my husband who is a jack of all trades. He wanted to incorporate his love for woodworking, weaponry, and the Bible, so this was a perfect fit. Ordered it as a custom stencil on mylar that he can use over and over again to stamp his work. 

Logo designed for a local Keto Health Coach/Baker starting her own business, Live Sprightly Co. Client wanted something that was friendly and approachable, something that would encourage her clients to find new life and energy. We included alternative logos at a later date as my client continued to search and mold her business. The alternate logos could be used at different events and wouldn’t be unrecognizable from the branding as a whole. 

Decided to design a spread for one of my favorite recipes. :) 

Another look at my senior project from this past year :) In physical form! I was so excited to tackle this project because I was leaving my comfort zone of just using photos to illustrate my book, but instead going the opposite direction of illustrating everything by hand, save for the front cover. This book served as an encouragement to those who needed a gentle push into the world of art; art that would serve them and others in a therapeutic and fun way. This book is for the people who could never conceive that they could be creative and have fun while doing it. It was a JOY to put together because the joy is the process for me. 

I had the pleasure of working on a freelance job with a young man from Baltimore who had it placed on his heart to create a podcast centered on the doings and happenings of his city. We worked together to come up with a concept that reflected the inner workings and colorfulness of the city while playing on one of its nicknames “Charm City”. The logo itself is a very simplified form of a TV and the old colored bars of early color TV, but with colors that are related to Baltimore, most notably, the Orioles. Accompanying the logo, we had decided early on to do a website and business card, which then changed into me helping design his Youtube channel. The second image is the channel description and overlay, simple, striking, and straight to the point about what the podcast was aiming for. The business card was probably the most fun to work on. I wanted it to also live simply as the logo and channel designs would, and so I boiled it down to just the name and the colored bars for the front and a neat back with all of the pertinent info.
