Lydia was a bubbly pink and rainbows kid, despite being raised in a broken home. Her father may have died before she was born, but she still had her sister, doting grandparents, and loving mother--despite her failing heath. Too young to see the way the wheels really turned, she held onto her innocence. Even when her sister left for school, she had hope that her family would stay just as perfect as it was.
Now, six years after her sister left, two years after the death of their grandparents, their mother's health took a turn for the worse.
