Taking a moment to think positively. I’ve been thinking and like…the Caps aren’t good when they play us? Maybe when they play other teams but honestly in this series their wins have come from luck, cheap shots, and missed calls. Granted, our defence hasn’t been great and we still need more than just our stars to show up and score but like in the first two games in Washington we were majorly outplayed in the first periods. The Caps could have lit us tf up like we’ve seen happen in the other second-round series and like what happened in the Philly series. They couldn’t even manage that. The games have been close even when the Pens have not been playing well. The Caps have had so many chances to bury us (with some assistance from the refs too) but they can’t even manage that on their own.
