Ah.. busy. Before it was so much easier to lounge around– nowadays it’s nearly impossible. Would you believe me if I told you this is the first time in two months I’ve had to myself?

If I had known all the trouble the old man went through before, I might’ve gone a little bit easier on him.

– But what about you? It must be exciting having to no longer deal with mountains of paperwork.

Do you regret accepting it? Surely you must have thought it would be something like this.

        Maybe, but I’m not your subordinate anymore. You can take it easy once in a while when it comes to me, I promise!

– Tea it is then, old friend.

(He stands, making a brief disappearance as he goes to pick up the necessary items before returning– setting two cups carefully before them.)

Or perhaps it’s a sign that I need to purchase more now that I have company.

( A laugh. )

I can’t help but feel as if you’re referring to me…

         How else am I supposed to stay relevant? Can’t just sit by for too long, y’know.

( Though he does take it as a cue to take a break, sitting down with a loud huff. )

         Playing catch-up is tough.

If you keep doing that you’ll overexert yourself and fall ill~

Hm. That’s good to hear. Although I am curious what he intends to do now that he’s back. I doubt many people know of it either.

Hah! Even if they’d asked I’d have refused, which I’d suppose they knew if they know much about me at all. Supporting you is one thing; having to head it myself would have been rather a different story.

No one was really at fault for what happened– but I understand the feeling of losing someone important.. So I can sympathize with his younger brother to an extent.

(He pauses for a moment before continuing.)
