WHEW.
This comic has been a long time coming, as folks who have followed this blog and seen the various teasers over the past year will know.Ā Actually Iāve been working on it even longer than that!Ā
This was done as a trade for @pirablyā, in exchange for the wonderful Portal Ford plush he made!Ā (Seen here.)Ā The characters of Aru (big skull-faced monster) and Marun (the cat with the interdimensional-projection abilities) are two of his OCs who are friends of Portal Ford (see links to his tags for more of them!).Ā This story took shape between us, and all through the process, he gave me invaluable feedback and really made this better.Ā (Iāll say right now: the brilliant Bill-eye layout of page 8 was his idea; my original sketch was much more boring.)Ā
While Iām terribly overdue in finishing my half of the trade, itās probably fortunate I took so long, as this would have been 10x harder to do without being able to work digitally in CSP, and probably wouldnāt have come out as well either..
I realized at the end that the theme and atmosphere of the story was just spooky enough to make for a good Halloween post.Ā So, also:

Portal Ford and some friends!
Did this because I wanted to practice @pirablyāās OCs, Marun (black cat), Aru (skull-face), and Fusu (owl-gryphon); because I hadnāt done a classic portal Ford in too long; and because I wish it would snow. ;-)Ā Ā But yes, mostly because Iām about to start my comic trade for Pirably, which involves all of these (except Fusu) and more!Ā (And as a bit of a thank-you for being patient with how slow Iāve been on that project.)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, once again, to DIPPER AND MABEL!
For this birthday, another hike amongst the redwoods on a misty day. This time, they're meeting up with Bigfoot, who became a friend during an encounter on the Stan Twins' birthday back in 2021 (see here, here, and here.)
I would very much like to go hiking in the redwoods again; it's a magical place!
(As mentioned before, Iāve loosely based my Bigfoot design on the life-sized figure ā made of grizzly fur I believe ā at the International Cryptozoology Museum in Portland, Maine (my photos here).Ā Only, Iāve tried to make his fur a bit more redwoods-colored, and my take on his skin color is a sort of moss/lichen green, perfect for blending into the woods.)

I did February 2026 for the Gravity Falls Hunkles Calendar!
And it turns out that that will be the 10th anniversary of the finale!
So I tried to incorporate a lot of nods to the finale in the piece, from the sculpture that Stan is working on (that will be displayed in the Mystery Shack), to the various photos on the fridge.
And of course, for the Bill doodle for the grid page, it had to be Bill's statue form!

Hereās where we are with the calendar, gang:
I have not had enough calendars sold to purchase the print run, so I will be keeping pre-orders open at least until July 13 and hopefully not much longer than that.
I have also added the digital edition of the 2025/2026 calendar to help bring some cash in to cover costs. Like the physical calendar, the digital copy will be $30 USD. Please read the digital listing carefully! I don't usually like to list the digital copy until after the physical pre-order has met its goal, but Iām desperate to have extra money, because I really want this campaign to succeed. According to Etsy, there are over 150 calendars in peopleās carts right now. If you have added the calendar to your cart or favorited it in the hopes of getting some sort of coupon from my shop, that will not happen. Since this is a crow-funded project and all proceeds are going to charity, no discounts will be offered. If everyone that has a calendar in their cart or favs were to order, we'd be fully funded within the week. PLEASE purchase as soon as possible, so we can get these calendars into production and keep our timeline on track.
