heard what u said about gay people
A ship ā a magnificent ship ā full of gay men.
And me.
one thing i find strange about TERFism and trans-criticism is how much of it is just attractiveness politics. it seems to be the leading talking point. sure, make your points on sexual dimorphism or biological sex differences (which any normal trans woman is fully aware of already, mind you. the average transsexual is not claiming sheās experiencing period cramps lol) but so much anti-trans discourse seems to just be āwell youāre ugly so youāre not a woman and i feel unsafe.ā which seemsā¦. so counter-productive to your movement. trans women, like any group of people, are nowhere near exempt from criticism, but what is the point of putting so much emphasis on such an empty and invalid viewpoint? so much of feminism seems to hark on how men only respect women they find attractive, yet the majority of your breath is spent on here pointing out physical characteristics that you seemingly think invalidate someoneās identity. how does having broad shoulders, a wide jaw, and a five oāclock shadow somehow equate to being a predatory rapist? itās a mindset iāve never understood. obviously itās prevalent outside trans discourse, people just generally seem to equate ugliness with evilness, but you would think a group of individuals who posture themselves steeped and rooted in theory and academics wouldnāt weaponize such a vapid and vague talking point. (not to say only terfs do it, your average Internet Man absolutely loves to dunk on the fuckability of any given trans woman at any given time, butā¦.. fork found in kitchen.) idk, iāve just always found it odd. like iām sorry but i just donāt buy into the idea that youāre supposed to be reasonably terrified of someone in a public bathroom because you think theyāre ugly. i think you might just be an asshole.

how it genuinely feels to have someone who agrees with your somewhat niche stances on a character
I cannot believe the characters are assholes, cried the man watching the asshole characters show

lmfao I just saw zohran doing the inaugural swim in a full suit and tie, the schtick genuinely gets funnier the more he does it. My only complaint is should have worn swim trunks OVER the suit
Can you guess which of these people is the mayor
Interview with the vampire 2.07 | 3.03
Sam Reid: I think that Claudia's transformation -- for Lestat -- is more about Nicki than anything else; and it's about our adaptation and our perspective on Nicki. Lestat has seen what happens to someone when they are not prepared to become a vampire. Claudia is a bad choice to become a vampire, really really bad choice. And it's not what he wants because he's seen that pain, he's experienced that pain he's turned somebody who was not meant to be one, who lost their mind and he carries the guilt of that transformation. He loved him and he was miserable and he died and it was horrific. It took him over hundreds of years to get over it.
If you're wondering why there's so much resistance to the idea of a 4-day work week, or why automation hasn't actually led to people working less like it was supposed to...

imagine someone basically saying 'oh yeah i had more fun in this one place where we tortured you basically 24/7 and i wish i was still working there instead of chilling in this stupid mansion' AHFIGHGF
"Guess I don't have to tell you dear diary, what is like to have a person crack your spine, open you up and shove a pencil inside you. And I fought him, even with my broken arm and then my rebroken arm, but even still all the bad things happened that bad men do. He had my legs pulled apart and my dress pulled up āround my waist. And that awful, stuffed full, too wet feeling down there, like I was packed with dirt. And I hope one day he feels this, small and cornered and crushed like a can. But then there were the parts, where he brought home kills, and I sat with him and ate. I just said what he wanted to hear. And it aināt easy to like myself ācause of it. I even once felt a twinge of something nice, and not the worse thing ever. He let me go, ācause I seemed small and it looked like heād won. And he did win, ācause I want nothing, to be nothing, and say nothing, and do nothing. You know the stupidest of all dear diary? I thought I was the thing lurking in the shadows. I thought I was.ā
