Thank you for your recent story Haunted. It was a joy to follow that story each day for over a month. Even the missing sex scene lol! The story I loved the most was Betrothed. You built such a complete word for those two. I truly understand where you are coming from and hope that some fandom out there gets to continue to enjoy your amazing writing. You will be missed.

Why do you feel the need to “anonymize” your stories on AO3?
Because the rhink hyperfixation has passed, or however you wanna term it, and I want to keep my AO3 account with my previous comments etc (because there's some really lovely ones and maybe there will be more in the future) but change the name and write for other stuff. I've been open about my increasing discomfort with RPF for a while and now I'm done writing it. Doesn't mean I'm leaving our little corner of the internet forever but I will be around less. Time for a fresh start.
Anyone who wants my new tumblr name is welcome to message me for it if you still want to see pictures of my cat and also other people's cats.
I will truly miss the pinecontents name, although the random username generator gave me some pretty tolerable replacement options.

The amount of effort ficwriter does in order to write a fic. "nah the story doesn't need to be that accurate it's just a fic I'm not getting any money out of it" and then as they keep writing and posting their browse history is something like "moon calendar in 1981"
