Robron stuff...

Even though a lot of your thoughts about robert goes above my head 🤣🤣, I do understand this one and agree with it because with the huge amount of history and breakups and reunions they've had we can very evidently see how robert puts all the efforts in the relationship with they're broken up and once they're back together, it's always aaron who give his all into keeping them together making a loving family taking care and all that and I do think it's a lot to do with what you said like rob thinks he's done with that step. It's not necessarily the worst thing because for robert it's always like if he doesn't have aaron nothing else means much which he has said once or twice if I remember correctly (when they broke up after the baby debacle and rob said I can do anything if I've got him) and I think it's very true. I don't know how to explain this. And now I guess it's the same like he has aaron so he's focused on something else (not in a bad way but if I were aaron and I realised that I'd feel bad like I'm being taken for granted) but I don't think rob realises that he's taking aaron and their relationship for granted.

yes i agree. i don't think rob's necessarily completely conscious of what he's doing. a lot of it is just him trying to be what he thinks he needs to be. a Husband for aaron, a Big Brother for vic, a Father for seb, a Boss and a Farmer and Robert Sugden for the rest of the village.

and i do think he's taking aaron for granted and it does break my heart a bit for aaron. he deserves to be fully prioritised but, unfortunately, robert's always looking for something else, for the next step, and when aaron's on the same step (or even one behind) he doesn't really see him. but i think that rob does love him, and, like you said, it's not necessarily in a bad way but, just like every relationship, they've settled down. and that, i think, would be enough for aaron if he had the family along with it.

aaron has also always prioritised his family but he does it differently to rob, because he's always felt behind, whilst robert's always felt ahead. teen aaron didn't think he was good enough for his family, but teen robert thought he was too good for his. so aaron's always clawing at the family that he has built to keep them around, but robert is always looking forward. he's dragging aaron along with him whilst aaron is just trying to keep a hold of everything. and it slipped away once before. who's to say it won't happen again.

basically, rob's ambitious and aaron's content where he is (or he would be if robert just stayed put and gave him his baby) he just doesn't want to lose it, but that's never really been in his control. because robert isn't looking at him by his side, he's looking forward at his future and around at the people watching him.

Charity has never labelled her sexuality either. Vinny neither. Mary has come out as a lesbian, but it's not like she's had great stories since...

So... I'm just calling it homophobia in Kev's case, and misogyny in Vanessa and Charity's cases. Especially with the way they had Kev say the "don't assume people's sexualities" line. And how they've been biphobic with Charity very recently and not just the once.

he was in prison from 2002 to 2025, meaning he has no connection to the queer community and even less the words

he specifically says "pansexual, i don't see gender" which the tell tale sign that the writers/whoever thought of this don't even know the bi/pan history and transphobic history of the queer community

I definitely have some opinions on Kev’s sexuality not the strongest opinion but a opinion and everyone is well within their right to have one even if they are different

but anyone coming on here to make posts trying to make fun of people who are upset or to inflict hate upon others are truly disgusting

this show has so many characters and so much history that there is never gonna be two fans who agree on every single thing about the show and that is okay!

But if you are gonna come online just to hate on every person who thinks differently to you then you will realise soon enough that you will make no real friends in the fandom because we are unique

I love putting my opinion out there and have a debate but I know that by doing that people won’t agree and I always will put in effort to listen to that person even If I don’t agree but I’m not perfect and I know sometimes I am very stubborn but one thing I will never do is purposefully inflict hate and i think anyone who posts with the intention of causing upset should really think about why they would ever do that

So please let’s keep giving our unique opinions, let’s keep having debates but let’s also remember to be kind because it don’t cost a penny
