Girl dads jayvik for you all

This is a redraw of a drawing I did back in 2024 during one of my college classes, I never really posted it because it was months before I even considered showing my parents au, but look how everything turned out!

BE PREPARE FOR A MESSY RAMBLE BECAUSE IT'S 4 AM AS I'M WRITTING THIS WHEN IM SUPPOSED TO FINISH MY FINALS:

Honestly, I did think about it! I'm always thinking a lot of how to NOT make it happen, but i feel that sadly it's a bit unevitable? (is that the correct word? i am supposed to be finishing finals right now) but I'm thinking of how to make it in a not traumatic way, you know?

At first it wasn't really a problem, Brayden was on his own for 6 years, then the only younger sibling he had was only Chloe. They had the same amount of attention from their parents.

When they adopted Shiva and Shatter, and on top of that soon had Nikolai, Brayden was 11, and he wanted to have a more active role at helping his parents, specially when Jayce was post-partum after Nikolai, but Viktor didn't allow him to, or tried to.

I feel Viktor being a kid from Zaun and having to work himself out of the trenches would make him a parent that would let his kids be kids if he is able to give them a easier life than him, so him asking his older kids to look after the younger ones is like seeing them as workers and he doesn't like that.

In a perfect world I want to think that Jayce and Viktor are aware of the older siblings being parentified and try to avoid it. BUT THEY ARE BOTH ONLY KIDS (in my AU), THEY PROBABLY DON'T KNOW THAT HAPPENS. So it would happen even if I don't want to (my AU it's just a really cute fantasy lol)

I'm thinking Vi warns them? Her kinda being a role figure to her siblings since she was a teen and knowing what it was like. Probably jajs

Another way I think they can avoid that is them having the money for nannies, relieving the weight of responsabilities from the older kids. They are rich, ok?

As for Mynx, she was ALREADY parentified at Ekko's hideout, being one of the older orphan kids that live there. Part of her story is her journey of allowing herself to be a kid again, she is confused why neither Jayce or Viktor were asking for help, because why would they adopt her???

Do I make sense? I hope I do
