Literary Club – The Golden Window

As we bid farewell to 2024 and welcome a new year, I look back with gratitude for the experiences that shaped my journey. One of the most memorable has been being part of the Literary Club. I joined with a simple love for stories, poetry, and meaningful conversations, hoping to meet people who shared my passion for literature.

What I discovered was much more than a club—it became a space for creativity, learning, and friendship. Every activity, from book discussions and writing competitions to poetry readings, encouraged me to think differently and express myself with confidence. The support and appreciation from fellow members inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and share my ideas without hesitation.

The Literary Club taught me that literature is not just about reading or writing; it is about understanding emotions, connecting with people, and exploring new perspectives. It helped me develop communication, creativity, and self-belief.

A Creative Journey: My Experience in the Literary Club

The Literary Club has been one of the most enriching experiences of my MBA journey. Amid lectures, assignments, and deadlines, it has given me a platform to express my creativity, explore literature, and connect with like-minded individuals. The club was inaugurated in the presence of our esteemed Assistant Director, Directors of MBA and PGDM, and our President, Prof. Chittaranjan, whose inspiring words highlighted the importance of creativity, storytelling, and critical thinking in shaping future leaders.

Being appointed as the Chief Secretary has made this journey even more meaningful. It has allowed me to contribute to organizing activities that encourage self-expression and teamwork. Our first event, a Freehand Art Competition during Ganesh Chaturthi, was a memorable celebration of creativity and culture. Participants not only showcased beautiful artwork inspired by Lord Ganesha but also shared the stories and emotions behind their creations, making the event truly engaging and inspiring.
