Today I went along to enjoy Doctor Who: The TV Movie on the big screen at the Tyneside Cinema! It was good motivation to pull together more of my Seventh Doctor outfit from this production. Still need that tie - and I took the umbrella simply because I feel under dressed without it.

So it was the same erratic hot mess the TVM always has been. It's still horribly bittersweet for my favourite incarnation. I suppose we're lucky there was even a regeneration at all - and Sylvester absolutely delivers, he crams so much energy into his brief presence. You really feel the Seventh Doctor is the same character, albeit hugely matured from Time and the Rani, or even Survival. Where is Ace though? What happened? So many unanswered questions...

I really wish we'd had more of him.
