Third day in a row on public transport into central London. This must be a record for me. Off to Charing Cross Road for a meeting. Yesterday I took lots of street photos of the London Underground to alleviate the tedium. Today I am trying out the Roland binaural microphones/ headphones to capture some lovely stereo/ 360 audio. I did a post a few days ago about my Soundman.de ones. These are cheaper and also double as headphones. They all look like headphones but they generally are not. These are both. You can see there are two jacks going into my Zoom H1. Mic and Headphones. It's obviously great to be able to monitor at same time as recording and there should be some sounds today. If there is something I love almost as much as symmetry it is perspective lines. if I can combine them both then even better! Although it does drive you you a little OCD crazy when framing up! This wasn't cropped or corrected in post other than the colour. This is why I never go out without a "proper" camera....A somewhat wasted four hours going into London and traipsing back for something that frustratingly didn't happen. The only thing that redeems that lost time and makes me feel less like I wasted four hours of my life (that I could have used editing and writing really important stuff) are the photos I took on the way there and back on public transport. To be honest it would have been a good hour shorter had I not kept stopping to take photos...😬 Sony A7Sii & Voigtlander 21mm F1.8 Ultron. A great street photography combo. More photos and my thoughts between this lens and the Sigma 20mm ART in prior posts. Photography is my favourite way of relaxing, distracting...even meditating of a sort.
