Soon! Phic Phight!

Evey year we hold Phic Phight, and each year hundreds of prompts are submitted. It is rare for every prompt to be filled. And there are many who wish to write a fic for a prompt, but they missed the sign ups. It is sad to see these ideas fall to the wayside, therefore we are now posting links to previous years prompt list and we welcome anyone to fill any prompts from there. This years prompts won't be posted until May 2nd.

Did you miss out on sign ups for Phic Phight this year? Do you want to read Phic Phight phics and comment on them for points? Do you want in on the Phic Phight discord server for the duration of Phic Phight?

That's what the Blob Ghost sign-ups are for! You don't get to write prompts or write phics for Phic Phight, but you can comment on phics for points! Those points get counted towards both your Blob Ghost team, and also the teams for the Phighters who write the phics you comment on! It’s like that headcanon where Blob Ghosts are little helper ghosts, forming a symbiotic relationship with more powerful ghosts!

Would putting a specific song from a musical (or even just a specific song) as a prompt count as a crossover?

For example: "taking inspiration from the song 'Wait for Me' in Hadestown, any two (or more) characters having that sort of dynamic - of loss, longing and love. Specifically - one character goes to the Ghost Zone to save the other, but something is causing trouble with the return of the other one."

Would it be better if I just put in the lyrics of the song that I find would best inspire, rather than the prompt? so, for example "'Wait for me, I'm coming', any two (or more) characters....", or maybe I could just suggest the themes of the story of Orpheus and Eurydicie.

I'm unsure if this sort of prompt would be allowed, and would love clarification:)
