hiya phenphoenix, i hope you’re doing well. i just wanted to ask one thing. as someone who’s admired your art for a long time, i was wondering if you’d be willing to share even a short response about the fandom you may no longer be part of. i want to be honest and say that i truly loved your swap au, and your work became one of my biggest inspirations for both writing and drawing.

(no pressure at all though- please feel free to skip this ask if it’s something you’re not comfortable with)

Hiya, to put things simply the last 2 years of my life have been extremely hard and the attention I got from my swap AU was way more than I anticipated. Especially since it was for a fandom I had already been a bit torn about. It went from a simple swap AU to almost a complete re-write of the story and I just didn't want to do that.

It got to the point where I was only working on it because other people liked it. And as time went on the issues I had with the shows just got worse, until I decided to just completely distance myself from the fandom.

I also ended up creating this new account and having the old one deactivated for various reasons, but one of them was so I could have a bit of a fresh start.

That's all I'm going to say on this matter, I appreciate you being so respectful, it truly means a lot.
