“Just so we’re clear…you’re not the Mary that’s keeping us all here, are you?” He knew they looked exactly alike, but Lucas could feel in his gut that this one was different. She just didn’t…have the same general feeling of power that their captor had.

“That’s right! I’m not the fake Mary.” The girl cheerfully replied. “She’s completely different from me! I hope we can be friends.”

To be trapped, toyed with, thrown into another game against her will, she should be angry by rights. But what her eyes saw was not a villain, only a child, and the frustration Diana had woken up with evaporated in her throat. First and foremost, she wanted to understand. After all, the Decision Game hadn’t been orchestrated without reason.

The glare vanished after she finished speaking. “I’m sorry. I’m just... so tired of being suspected like this. All I wanted was friends, and now I’m stuck in this place again.”

The rude world shouted at the blonde child he saw in one of the gallery hallways. Wasn’t that the child from before? Mary was it? The one that told everyone about these Roses being their lifeline? Why is she just walking around here? Wouldn’t she be hiding from the people who had questions about this place and who wanted to leave this place? Without much thought, Yu started to run to see if he can catch up to the small blonde. 

“Is... something the matter?” The young girl asked as she turned towards the man. Her head tilted to the side a bit. What did the other want? Was it something related to her being Mary again? She didn’t know.

Without much thought, Yu started to run to see if he can catch up to the small blonde. 

“Is... something the matter?” The young girl asked as she turned towards the man. Her head tilted to the side a bit. What did the other want? Was it something related to her being Mary again? She didn’t know.

“W-well… I j-just f-feel so nervous around e-everyone… I’m not used to so m-many people. If I-I stay in my room I-I might be s-safe…” He says softly.

“Safe? Are you talking about the....” She didnt’ want to say it. “I think it’s safer to be in a crowd of people. A lot of people watching.”

“So…what do you think of all this? I mean, the whole being trapped here thing…”

 “I feel scared and nervous, but I also feel like I’m not alone in this too. I... can relate.” 

A fake? Rise was certain the other Mary wasn’t a shadow. Still, she understand how it felt to be confused with a facade. That may not have been accurate, she figured, but she knew this girl wasn’t lying. “Sorry, you must get that a lot,” Rise apologized. This girl probably was an outsider. She looked identical to their captor. It wouldn’t surprise Rise, if many avoided her. Offering a smile, she spoke, “That’d be nice. I’m Rise, by the way.”

“As you know already, I’m Mary! I hope the other Mary will let us out sometime.” The exit was blocked away sadly.

“I…might hide away in my room soon….” He said silently hiding behind a book in the library.

“Eh? Why do you want to hide away in your room?” The young girl asked inquisitively.

                                “It’s worse than someone spitting in your mouth.” 

“Ew! Worse than that? It must be reaaally gross then.”

You don’t know who Red-Eyes is per se, but that tone in the child’s voice sure doesn’t sound like she’s JOKING… In fact, this is the most serious she’s sounded this entire time.

“Isn’t feeding them to Red-Eyes harsh?”
