Patrice Endres - 15th April, 2004
Patrice Marie Tamber Endres, 38, Hairstylist, disappeared on the 15th of April, 2004, from her Hair Salon. The Salon was purchases and remodeled by her and her husband Rob Endres. Rob had an alibi and said he and Patrice were happy, but Pistol Black Endres, Patice's son, as well as other people close to her, said otherwise. Rob was supposedly jealous, possessive and controlling. Rob kicked Pistol out of their home soon after Patrice's disappearance. On the day of the disappearance, Patrice had a phone call at 11:45, the client with whom she had this call reported that she was being atypically curt and the call ended two minutes later. Patrice was reported as missing to the police at 12:00, by another client of hers who couldn't find her no matter how much she called her phone, giving the killer 13 minutes total to kidnap her. The client who she was on the phone mentioned that her demeanour was off, two witnesses around the area noted that there was a blue car (either a Chevy Lumina or a Ford Taurus with Georgia Wildlife tag license plate) in front of her salon, along with her own car (which was moved after the disappearance), with a man, or older woman with shoulder length hair, and they were seen in an altercation of some form. Endres' lunch was left untouched that day, the money in her register missing and her car and car keys were gone too. Rob was noted to have known her schedule, but he had an Airtight alibi. At that same time, serial killer Gary Hilton was found in the county, via a traffic violation on his 1996 White Chevy Astro Van, which was found by the police far later.
In 2005, serial killer Jeremy Bryan Jones, claimed to have killed Patrice Endres, while in Jail for the murder of Lisa Nichols. He drew a map to where he'd left the body, in a river, but when the police followed his trail, they found nothing and he was dismissed from being a suspect.
In December of 2005, Patrice's remains was found 4.6 miles away from the Salon, close to Lebanon Baptist Church on Kelly Bridge Road. Her remains were in skeletal form, and had no blunt trauma, and her wedding ring (two bands with a Marquise Diamond), was missing. Her remains being on land and far away from Jones' original claim, completely tagged him as innocent.
Now, Gary Hilton was a known serial killer, and he was known for leaving his victims' bodies in National Forest Parks (much like that of Patrice's). He was also known for targeting Hair Salons and mugging them around lunchtime. When questioned by police, Gary lacked an alibi, but the Police lacked evidence, so he was let go. But, it's more than possible that Gary attacked Patrice's Salon around 11:40 that day, which would explain why she was weird on the phone with her client at 11:45, with the abrupt end at 11:47, but also her disappearance before 12:00. Within that time, Gary stole Patrice's money off her register, and when Patrice tried to fight back, he strangled her, leaving no mark on her skeleton. After she died, he moved her dead body and left it in the forest close to the church, but he also moved her car, towing it with his Chevy Astro Van. He then took her wedding ring, most likely to sell to a pawn shop, and left off. Her body decomposed with time, seeing as it wasn't found for 1.7 years after her death, and he got arrested for another murder, a few years later. Patrice worked in a semi-remote area, there were no witnesses after the fact, only the two who saw them while they were fighting, who seemed to have also thought that one was pushing the other, or helping each other up. Making for his perfect crime with near no evidence.
