I wanna sleep.

No one talks about the heavy weight on your chest when you open your eyes and realize you have to be an adult. How depression makes even the smallest tasks feel like climbing mountains. It’s a struggle to even find the will to get out of bed.

So, your clothes begin to pile up in your room. Your garbage can overflows. The act of taking a shower feels like attempting to run a marathon. Yet even at your worst, the only thing on your mind isn’t trying to find help. It’s trying to stay sane enough to keep from breaking in a world that’s only getting harder everyday. Your mind is in content survival mood and it’s the most draining thing you can experience.

That’s depression.
