The smartest kid you’d ever wanna meet,     voracious reader, loves puzzles and games and strategy and has def solved     the rubix cube tbh

Good natured and wise beyond his years

He understands both his parents and their     struggles

Admittedly, all that drama is exhausting to     him and he’d just as soon not be involved, but he has a generous spirit     and he cares for them both a great deal

He wants the best for them

The kind of kid who seems to see everything

Always there to look out for his parents

Usually pr quiet but unusually perceptive

Still he can be cruel to those he feels     deserve it

You reap what you sow, people

Never forgets anything

But doesn’t care enough in most cases to get     hurt by others’ opinion

V conceptual so the concept of justice trumps     mercy most of the time in his mind

But he def has that quality esp if ppl prove     themselves worthy of it

Generally v affectionate and protective

Often quite sarcastic

Def takes after his dad more than his mom but     there’s def some of her in there too

He might not forget, but he’s always willing     to forgive and offer a hand up to people if they really deserve it

Tbh actually ridiculously well adjusted all     things considered

Tends to be wry and sardonic but full of good     will

Genuinely wants to be useful

Probs ISTJ or ESTJ

V practical kind of person but ngl loves to be     charmed

But more so wants to have reasonable     discussion, a meeting of the minds

Sticks to his guns about his thoughts and     feelings but isn’t unreasonable

If you can convince him beyond the shadow of a     doubt that he was wrong, he’s more than willing to admit the fact

But lives in a world of concrete facts and     respects these

V bookish, enjoys reading and research,     expanding his mind and ~horizons

V calm even in v demanding situations and     always sensible

But ngl he’s still a jovial person around     those he likes

If he doesn’t like you, that’s a completely     different story

Fortunately he’s pr open minded

V perceptive and willing to forgive faults in     others as long as they are striving to be their best or simply don’t     understand what they’re doing – if they’re hurting someone else,     particularly someone who can’t defend themselves, he will take issue

He is v much a protector and likes to see that     everyone is safe and ok and happy and in a good place

Pr precise and analytical in brain process,     but in general he’s an idealistic sort – at least insofar as he has an     idea of what the world could     be

That being said, he thinks it’s a far cry from     that but that everyone should strive towards that end

Has a v wry, sometimes dark sense of humor and     despite his ideals can come across as terribly cynical

He’s not always as bitter as he seems, though     he’s not always happy w his life

Perhaps he compares it too much to what it could be

Yet for all that, he’s realistic about his     goals and his life and what it is and, in the long run, knows he has it     pretty good

He just gets frustrated sometimes – he’s only     human afterall

Especially bc he’s perceptive and can see the     potential in just about everything

Still, getting there is something entirely     different and he gets that but sometimes he wishes it could just be

Mostly he contents himself w what he has     though

V discreet person, never foists his troubles     off on others – they’re not that great afterall in the scheme of things –     but he’s smart and that often comes off as being somber

He’s just usually working things through his     capacious mind

So don’t take it personally if he seems     distant or distracted

He’s just got an orderly mind and he takes his     time sorting things through

He’ll come back around and work on whatever     you’ve brought before him in turn as well

He’s actually extremely thoughtful in his way

The main problem w being as clever as Peter     is, is narrowing down what seem like limitless options

Peter doesn’t know what he wants w his life     exactly and that’s the jist of it

He COULD do almost anything

And he likes trying new things (though while     he’s doing something, he concentrates deeply bc he’s an extremely focused     person really) so once he’s done all one thing has to offer, how does he     limit himself to that one thing?

Peter craves constant cerebral stimuli

He doesn’t act out or anything to achieve it,     he just goes and finds the next thing to do – or, more generally, the next     book to read

The college situation plays into these things

Whatever happens, Peter’s going to get a     top-notch education and he knows he could do so much with that, but how to     choose?

Right now, he’s weighing his options and     focusing on keeping his grades up – wouldn’t wanna risk it all now

Still, he’s not so attentive as he was as his     mind is on his future more than his present

A part of him is actually seeking a     distraction from his big decision, which is a deeply confusing combination     but there it is

It’s not unlike his complex relationships with     his parents

He loves both dearly, but longs for what they     could have had

Still he takes each as they come, accepting     their flaws and failings and embracing their strengths and triumphs

Cause that’s how Peter rolls

(For the most part)

He doesn’t tend to judge people, but there is     a line with him and, once crossed, he is nearly incapable of forgiveness

Peter has a v strong moral compass (s/o to     sheriff dad probs) and he expects others to abide by the rules of moral     conduct in order to be considered decent people

Peter is his own harshest judge

He’d never expect of anyone else what he     expects of himself

But it’s not obv

Esp since he’s generally chipper
