Always the biggest inspiration
Dreams of a 4th Year Marketing Student.
When I first entered the doors of Sauder 4 years ago, I had no idea the journey that had just begun and the personal changes I would go through. While I certainly learned some technical skills, the biggest takeaway I got from being at University is that sometimes your dreams aren’t good enough. Sometimes, no matter how hard you work, there will be a person who has better connections than you, better knowledge than you, or is simply just better than you. Hope. Future. Aspirations. Looking into what is ahead is something that is nerve-wracking for all of us, but we must persevere. Family, friends, community. This is what you will find at university, and with them you have a chance at finding a purpose. They will be the wind behind your back, the supporters of your dreams, and the ones you must hold dear to; for as long as you have them, you still have hope, and dreams. Keep going, keep learning- university is but a crossroads, from which we all grow stronger. "Ever Tried. Ever failed. No problem. Try again. Fail again. Fail better." -Samuel Beckett
