Aw thanks, I've missed you too! Coming back has been a bit weird, for both of us, but we're working through it haha. Hopefully we can get back into our mojo in no time🦊

We're back! At least for now. We're not sure how long this will last, but hopefully whatever gap comes next won’t be as large as last time. 5 years, wow. Lots of things have changed, but we’ll get to that. 

Peter reached out to me a while back and filled me in on what’s been happening for him. We want to maintain his safety with everything that’s been going on, but he wanted to get back to doing what he’d first started. The letters. He used to write letters to people on here that might have needed a pick me up due to whatever they were struggling with, and Peter wants to start doing it again. So that’s what we’ll do - Rae 🦊

Sorry it’s taken me so long to get this out to you guy. School was taking up a lot of my time and I knew if I came on here to type up the story real quick that I would stay on it for the next several hours reading reactions XD SO I decided to wait till I was done with school. Anyways, here’s the story of why the first week in February was awesome.

There’s this guy that I’ve liked since I was 15 (I’m 18 now) and we’ve been really good friends for several years. He lives out in Nevada and I live in the Midwest, so it’s a bit difficult to consistenly stay in contact other than through texting, but we’ve managed it. Let’s call him AJ. His mom li ves in the same city as I do and sohe comes out to visit her as often as he can. When we first met it was obvious to everyone but us that we liked each other. It took us about four and a half months before iwe finally told each other. We went on a few dates, acted like and soon became boyfriend and girldfired, and then mututally agreeded to break up last summer. Our schedules were really bust, we rarely talked anymore, he was doing a lot of stuff with the army and would be deployed in two years. As for me, I would be going to college the next year and then it’d be even harder to stay in contact. Long distance relationships, while totally doable, are probably just as difficult as people think. Since then we’ve still been friends and still talked as often as we can.

In December, all of my friends were pressuring me into going to our school’s Winter Formal in February (hint hint) and I finally relented. I’d never been to one of my schcool’s dances because I just wasn’t into that kind of stuff, but seeing as how this would be my last year, I decided ot go. Somehow, don’t ask me how, I worked up the courage to ask AJ if he’d want to go with me. I figured the answer would be yes, but that he wouldn’t actualy be able to make it out because of how busy his work schdeule was and, you know, the whole “several states away” thing. Surprisingly, he told me that he’d actually been planning to come out and visit that same week.

So we planned everything out, and then when he came here, we went to the dance that Saturday. It was tons of fun. We didn’t dance, like, at all. The music sucked and neither of us liked it, so we just sat outside in the hallway and talked for an hour and a half. The week after, when he left, it sucked. I was super mopey and kind of lonely. Very incredibly long story short, we told each other that we still missed each other and were still interested in each other. It was a squee-worthy moment XD

Anyways, so that’s what my first week of Febreuary was like for those who wished to know :)

The two of them are disgusting together. All lovey dovey and stuff, almost always holding hands, jokeing around, and then when they team up to tease people, usually Peter and I, they’re too good at it for their own good -_-

School kinda sucks right now but that’s cause of finals of course. It should be better in a week or two...

Yeah? That’s pretty cool :) I’ve got a few other friends who did the same thing, that way they wouldn’t have to take as many classes their freshmen year there. 

I’m great! Three more days of school and no homework whatsoever. Gotta spend time cleaning my room too XD I missed you too Lou! *hugs*

There were a lot of deciding factors, between BYU and a school just under 2 hours away from where I live. One of the biggest things I was worried about was the relationship with my three youngest siblings. I want them to have memories of me at home and not feel like I’m a stranger when I visit them. BYU is states away and originally I wasn’t going to go there, but my deciding thought was: What would I regret most by going to BYU or the state school? The state school is amazing, nothing is wrong with it, but it’s a bit of a party school and I don't want to chance getting wrapped up in any of that stuff or make friends who are wrapped up in that. With BYU, my regret would be that I can’t visit as often, but I know overall that I’ll have a better experience there versus the other school. Plus, I’ve already got 7 friends who go there, so that kinda helped :) Thanks so much for the question!

Is there gonna be a fight? Should I bring popcorn?

Everything’s been really good :) My AP tests went better than I thought they would and those two weeks were kinda just work days for my other classes since everyone was basically done. This week is just partying for us seniors XD Food and goodbyes. Ned’s been trying to call Peter’s cell even though I keep telling him I doubt they have service out in space
