west wall is blocked.

stiles hadn’t seen her in weeks it felt like, at least since he had started his new externship. he’d been vying for the time to get back home to see alayna at any chance he’d get. most of the time, it never came, until now, as he walked up the steps of the home and knocked on her door. he was vibrating with excitement--she had no idea that he was coming. 

the night hadn’t been much different than usual--having argued about something nonsensical with evan for the last few hours. it hadn’t been long before he’d fallen asleep on the couch, laying on evan’s lap, arm pressed over his face. that though, had been the different part. he’d never fallen asleep splayed across another like that before. stiles though, had for the first time in a long time, a decent night’s sleep. 

it started off as just sex, like most things did with jace. and then he caught himself staring at her from across the room as she laid in bed after another ‘one’ night stand. found himself falling for her slowly. the first night that he had called her, asked her to come over and she had obliged? it shocked him. and this evening were no different. he’d called her again, weak for her. she made his heart weak, he knew that for certain. nothing had happened that evening beyond kissing and eating pizza on his bed, lit up by soft, orange candlelight.

it’s late when stiles first lays down to sleep. he’d stayed up all evening pouring over his research books for work. he’d kept bruno waiting too long, something that he knew well enough. but as he climbed into bed beside him and bruno’s arm slivered around his waist and tugged him close, the smile that splayed across his face as he fell to sleep were there for all to see.
