To those who are new to petplay or want to experiment with different animals just remember that gear doesn’t make a pet. You don’t have to have any gear at all and still be a valid pet. Honestly it actually is a great idea not to buy any gear unless you know that the animal you picked is what you really want. I have a friend who thought she was a puppy and bought a bunch of puppyplay gear only to realise later on that she wasn’t really a puppy at all. There’s no rush, take your time and make sure you’re happy with your chosen animal before you shelf out a lot of money on fancy ears, collars, bowls, and other stuff. If you really want gear but aren’t sure about what pet you are, go on Wish or go to a dollar store and get cheap supplies. That way, you haven’t wasted much money at all if you change your mind later. Play safe fellow pets!!! 🐕
