I love the Adventure Time AU (started by @pestorik) so I did it to Birdie and Pipa
Candy Queen Birdie
Used to be human and was a intern at a lab for a candy factory until the mushroom war came and the nuclear bomb turned her into the first and only candy-human hybrid, all other candy people were born from the radiation. Birdie had no choice but to care for the candy people (who were as clueless as newborns) and eventualy was made into their queen as their population grew. She's constantly tired, since the candy people are very high maintenance.
Candy Princess Pipa
Very much human, found by Birdie as a baby when Birdie was exploring the woods near the Candy Kingdom (the citizens were afraid there was a monster, and the guards kept exploding from fear). All that Birdie found was a crying newborn, who she took in and raised into the spunky princess who can be seen running around and getting into trouble with Ace, Deuce and Grim. Pipa is the adventurous type, but also worries deeply that her "sister" is pushing herself. Pipa tries her best to take some work off of Birdie's back, but her youth and impatience makes her less than ready to take on royal burden.
