You know what is one of the things that sucks the most about Dysthymia?

That feeling of being depressed but not bad enough like to want to hurt/kill yourself, but bad enough to make you not want to get out of bed or leave your house.

Like your brain is toying with your emotions, “you are sad, but not too sad, not to want to end it all, not to choose the ‘easy exit’, oh no… You can’t be free quite yet. You are going to stay here, suffering, just a little longer”

It feels like being trapped in a sort of mental illness limbo. Just… Waiting. For who knows what, until you eventually feel better, only to fall into that vicious cycle again. For no reason in particular.
