Going hard fam
Need to go hard and lose something today. I’ve been on steroid medication for a couple weeks and it made me gain. And that's okay, and I’ve been trying to eat well to fix it, but people are always coming over for drinks, or my boyfriend brings home takeout, and I’m stuck at 50, and only just maintaining. Everytime I look at the scale I get so sad and angry and scared.
SO
Plan for today: Can only drink coffee (I’ll add a sugar to it, so I’m getting something) or diet coke until 3, then I’ll have an avo toast IF I’m hungry.

Day ?9? What do you normally eat?
I’m vegetarian and I don’t eat many animal products. A normal day (when I’m not restricting) would be like...
Breakfast: avo toast or cooked spinach and half a piece of fruit.
Lunch: a sandwich, rice, or tofu
Dinner: cooked veggies or pasta.
I try to stick to rough rules, like not to have bread with more than one meal a day, and having veggies with at least two of my meals.

Day 10: What was the hardest thing you gave up during weight loss? like most people, I’d say just my enjoyment of food. I never just enjoy a meal anymore, and I tell myself that once I’m “there” I’ll be able to find a balance and enjoy food again but really, what is the likelihood of that happening.
Will I be able to eat all the food I bought while drunk today and lose all the weight I gained during exam week?

Day 9: Did people ever make comments about your weight in a negative way?
Not really, I’ll get the occasional “you’re too skinny” but that’s generallt from relatives who are overweight and bitter about it. Once in high school someone told me I looked like I’d gained weigh and oh boy did that hit me hard. But honestly I’ve always been relatively thin.

Day 8: Your workout routine. I definitely wouldn’t say I have a routine, but I do live a pretty active lifestyle. I don’t drive, so I walk everywhere. I try and walk at least 30 minutes every day, this will be either to the shops or just around the block. I also stretch pretty intensely most days.
Perks of living out of home... Can’t eat because I haven’t gone grocery shopping in weeks.

Day 7: Do your parents know you are trying to lose weight? Do they care? No, they don’t. I don’t live with either of my parents right now anyway, and even when I did I don’t think they ever suspected a thing. I think they would care if they knew, just because to them I’m “so thin”.
Long story short, I’ve been eating great but still maintaining because I drink too much. I had one glass of wine last night and I’m not going to drink until after my exams. Wish me luck.

Day 6: Do you binge? if so, explain why you think you do. No, I really don’t binge. The closest thing would be if I have a pizza or a bag of chips in front of me, I WILL eat the whole thing. I can’t even have chips in the house without eating them immediately. I don’t know why that is.

Day 5: Why do you really want to lose weight? Are you doing it for you? Oh yeah it’s for me, baby. Other people factor in, but because I like the way people treat me when I’m ”pretty”. But mostly, I just LOVE the way I look when I’m thin.

it’s November and the years almost over. It’s about to be 2020 and you’re STILL struggling with binging. I get it baby me too. But that ends NOW. 2020 will be the skinniest year we’ve ever had. No more bs. Food is just energy, take what you need and leave it at that. We don’t want any unnecessary extra calories do we? They’ll do nothing but slow us down and make us cry. Imagine how shocked everyone will be by summer of 2020 seeing how small and beautiful we’ve gotten. Imagine next Halloween, all the cute skimpy dainty costumes we’ll wear. Imagine all the new clothes we’ll buy in 2020 because our old ones just don’t fit anymore. Use this as a sign, if by the small chance you see this, this is for you. Get a grip by 2020!!! You got this!!!
I actually did so well yesterday, and of course I’m like 2 pounds heavier today. I know it’s not a real reflection of my weight and I’m trying not to get down about it.
Telling myself that if I keep going, I’ll see a difference on the scale soon and it will feel amazing.
