My friend Aspasia sustains that the best time of the day for a business meeting is at breakfast time and more specifically before nine, when your mind is clean and the day ahead. During my last trip to Athens I had one of those early meetings with Yiorgos Korres, the founder of the homonymous beauty products company. Being a pharmacist with a great faith in natural remedies since the very beginning of his career, Korres knows a lot about herbs and this is mainly why I wanted to meet him. One of the first things that he asked me during our breakfast was who makes the watercolors that I post on my blog. I found the fact that he liked them quite flattering so I thought that it would have been cute to make one for him. I came up with a pattern inspired by the very first Korres product: a natural syrup for the cough made with honey, aniseeds and fennel seeds. The result would probably work better as wallpaper for a baby girl’s bedroom than for a cough syrup, but I think it’s cute. I sent it over today. Let’s hope he likes it!
