if modern au teen levi were to be alternative he wouldn't really be emo, more so a metalhead, from an alt person maybe it's a self-projection; i can't really see levi listening to emo bands (like i can't see him listening to sleeping with sirens or something😭 maybe chiodos, but that's a bit of a stretch to me. feel free to correct me as i'm not an emo, i'm not fully educated on other subcultures as much as my own). in my opinion he'd be more into thrash metal or something similar yes, levi throwing a fit over fringe gaps and smudged eyeliner wearing skinny jeans and studded belts would be hilarious, but as these are music-based subcultures i personally believe it doesn't fit him as much people saying he'd be goth makes slightly more sense, like i can see him listening to a few specific goth bands but in the end metalhead levi makes more sense idk, it's more believable for him to listen to the big four of thrash or a7x or something
