SIGNAL BOOST: HUNGARORING CLEAN UP 🌿🍃
hey guys!
most of you know that especially during sport events, where a lot of people come together for a few hours and where a lot of alcohol is involved, people tend to leave their trash behind. that does not only extend the hours of work for the staff but it also leads to an increase in the pollution of the environment.
i'm pretty sure all of us have seen the pictures of Seb staying behind during the last race to pick up trash the visitors have left behind, cleaning up the stands with help from the team. i know that media coverage or attention wasn't his objective with this, which makes this man even more amazing that he was before.
this week, F1 is at the Hungaroring and because i'll actually be there, me and @i--am-ironman are planning to follow Seb's lead. we're gonna get bags and gloves beforehand and stay behind after the race to clean up the stands. for one, because we wanted to show Seb that we see what he's doing and that we appreciate all the time and energy he puts into it. but secondly, of course, because littering is a huge problem and we're pretty sure, there will be a lot of trash to pick up after the race. we're hoping to be able to help the staff out but also to keep the trash from polluting the environment.
we'd love if some of you who are also going to the Hungaroring might wanna help us out as well! maybe we can meet up somewhere afterwards and do it together (that way we can talk about the race and just have a lot of fun) or we'll just do it seperately, but either way, i hope it might encourage people to think about littering and of not leaving their trash behind in the first place.
