Lisa Mam & Peap Tarr Are the pioneers of the Cambodian Street Art scene having kick started a movement that has now blossomed in the last 10 years ,their Style of Street Art has influenced both local and international artist who have come to reside and pursue their creative endeavors in the Kingdom of Cambodia plus help influence a art market for younger Khmer artist to have their art valued. PEAP TARR is of mixed heritage Mother Cambodian and Father from Te Awamutu New Zealand Peap a Auckland Native has been for many years evolving his art style into his own creation by combining his New Zealand Heritage and Cambodian Heritage to create a unique form of street art with his signature and sinister yet tranquil works of art which has caught the attention of art lovers around the world and also gained respect from many of his art peers that has given Peap international recognition Peap’s art exists in a world where lightness and darkness battle, yet coexist in the same breath to balance each other and contrast against each other. LISA MAM Cambodia’s first Khmer female Urban Street Artist And a pioneer of Cambodian Urban art a true trailblazer who has helped a new urban art movement grow here in her hometown of Phnom Penh city and she wants Khmer Graffiti /Street Art and also the creativeness of the future Khmer Modern Urban Art movement to be seen all around the world which she believes will help boost urban Khmer Art as officially being on the map which she believes will enhance Modern Khmer arts and culture and hopefully will make the youth of Cambodia and Khmer Youth around the world proud of their culture. In more recent times Peap and Lisa have been able to merge their art with a business side having been able to spark a new Urban Art movement in Phnom Penh and brought new international attention to themselves and a focus to Phnom Penh Cambodia where they both reside and create. Peap and Lisa have worked with Stussy Japan, About The Goods Hawaii, Bucketfeet USA, Peap was invited to paint in Pow Wow Hawaii during 2012, Peap and Lisa have had various art shows in Thailand including with Lotus Arts De Vivre in Bangkok, Bed Supperclub Bangkok, Goja Art gallery Bangkok. Hotel Art Fair Thailand 2017/2018 also both have worked on a huge projects with Cacha Hotel in Bangkok Thailand, painting all the lobby area including all the staircase walls all the way to the top and painting a large mural on the roof top also painting for Cacha second Hotel chain Cachabed Creating art Graphic works For Modern Polynesian New Zealand Dance theater Black Grace 20 year anniversary show titled SIVA. In 2015 Peap & Lisa were invited to Paint, Participate and sell there art Works Through Digard Auction in Paris France. They have painted for 5 star Resort Kuramathi Island in the Maldives, worked with various brands including Coca Cola, Samsung, Toyota, Starbucks, Stella Artois and the list keeps growing. Point blank-Peap and Lisa version of street art is truly unique. Working with Traditional patterns and modernizing them both Peap and Lisa take as much influence from Peap’s New Zealand heritage as they do from Lisa and Peap’s Cambodian heritage.
