My dipshit of a boss got himself involved in something because he doesn't have enough work to do. He does not include me in any conversations, meetings, or decisions regarding this process. But then, when the work needs to be done, he hands it all over to me and says "make this work".

He also does small bits of the leg work, which I then use to build off of, only to have him come back and say that's wrong. It's wrong because the part he worked on was wrong. And I have started pointing that out. Oh, something is missing from that document? That's the document you created and sent me.

I'm trying so hard not to tell them to take this job and shove it right now.

It has not been a good week. And it doesn't look to be getting any better.

I'd love to know what my family did to make the Universe so angry with us.

I feel like we should all collectively start a list of knee jerk reaction quotes from movies and tv shows, things we say in response to every day questions that we're pilfered from mass media.

For example, when someone asks me what day it is I instinctively say "October?", because of the Norm MacDonald line from Billy Madison.

When someone asks me what I'm doing I say "I'm composing a sonnet, what does it look like I'm doing", because I will always and forever love Fox Mulder.

If someone is walking slowly for no reason I will pull a Miranda Priestly and dryly say "By all means move at a glacial pace, you know how that thrills me".

Anyone else have good ones I can add to my repertoire?
