In my walk with God, I have consistently experienced the Bible’s ability to speak the right word, at the right time. God’s word comes alive in new ways each time I read. Even though I might have read it hundreds of times, in times of need it comes alive and fresh and gives me strength and courage for that particular moment when I face a struggle or trial. A.W. Tozer said, “The Bible is not only a book which was once spoken, but a book which is now speaking.” God wants to speak to us today, and everyday, through His word. Child of God, this new year, would you make reading the word a priority? Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. Psalm 119:105
