Humans were absolutely rotten and he truly despised their natures when brought into their world. For what reasons was the sorcerer sacrificing his existence for, what was his training to get stronger truly being used? It was simply a selfish desire that non-sorcerers were taking advantage of and their feeble lives may as well never exist. Clearing away the rot of this world was the first step, maybe even creating new sorcerers from under the rubble of this city. Such thoughts managed to plague his mind and were even encouraged when discussing with that woman. Suguru stared at the empty arms that raised up, remembering there was a corpse he was carrying away from that deranged cult. To imagine that humans didn’t care about the vessel and merely saw that death as a sacrifice to their lunatic beliefs…it was unforgivable.
She was more than a simple vessel, but someone who wanted to carry out a normal life. Yet that normalcy wasn’t given to her because she was a part of his world.
Suguru couldn’t hold back that desire to right the wrongs of this world, and immediately resorted to killing off those organizations. His hands were stained enough to never be considered a jujutsu sorcerer and only a curse user. He didn’t care in the slightest, if it meant getting rid of those who don’t belong in their world. Perhaps one man’s opinion would have stirred him away though he was…gone? Or maybe his eyes played tricks on him, and the corpse he heard of was false. The memories were starting to blend together with every corpse piling up with each other. It was easier to rip each one to shreds, or having one of the curses consuming those filthy bodies. Besides…no one can replicate that familiar curse energy that overpowered everyone.
That faint smile appeared over his face with ease despite the crimes he committed. It was a bit frightening to see his own friend becoming this powerful, someone who didn’t play around like before or toyed with the curses they fought. Every movement he made was thoroughly sketched out like an open canvas though moving his brush without pausing. It was rather intriguing to witness, something Suguru had a feeling would happen someday. Yet he never flinched nor turned a blind eye and merely congratulated such growth. They could continue getting stronger every day, every day they could take the trash out together.
They can make this world a better place for sorcerers.
Such an agreement would make Suguru happy, but it turned out that the events did affect him. Well not the way he might have desired which is what made it quite frustrating to listen. What was there to fix, even if those organizations have already met their demise? Their corpses were scattered around the floor or were those glasses fogging up his vision? His body arched forward with a confused look on his face, not understanding what his friend was talking about.
“How do you sew back bodies together, Satoru? I don’t think it’ll be easy to fix something I don’t regret doing.”
Maybe their paths wouldn’t be meeting together in the end which made him take the first steps forward. Though whatever second step would be made, the sorcerer immediately stopped himself with hands tucked away in his pockets. He couldn’t help sighing heavily at the turn of events as he believed his one and only would understand. Out of everyone, Satoru witnessed the atrocities these non-sorcerers could commit to their kind. What use was it to sacrifice their lives and try to save them from curses when they can’t even see them? They’re painfully ignorant, but they pick on young sorcerers because they have abilities they can’t hope to understand. Suguru couldn’t see himself protecting any of these humans any longer and would prefer to leave this place to start off new. Turning around to face him, there was a calm smile that spread across his face as he chuckled.
“Ahh, aren’t you the one who’s walking away from me Satoru? I really hoped you would understand…after what happened to Riko.”
No matter what words were spoken out of him, Suguru couldn’t find it in his heart to harbor hatred towards him. He was the only person who understood everything about him and felt they were fated to find each other. There wasn’t any distance between them, even now when that finger of his could end the sorcerer’s life with a single flick. Footsteps would shift to approaching Satoru closely to make that finger tap against his chest. His heartbeat raced with the subtle excitement to see what move he’d make, maybe getting startled enough where he accidentally released that domain expansion to get rid of everyone around them. He wouldn’t care if it meant the non-sorcerers walking around them would perish…a perfect sacrifice.
“How would you rewrite what sentence they would carry out for my name? But perhaps…it would pain me to walk away from you, Satoru.”
Eyes would notice that arm dropping down to his side and he took the opportunity to embrace him. Out of everyone around them, only he wasn’t afraid to treat this man like a regular person. The sorcerer couldn’t help performing these gestures like a natural thing…he wanted them to go back to how things were. But ignorance would blind them from the problems of this world, and he knew Satoru couldn’t have the heart to do it. His goal was to save lives, just as he used to be, but those lives only revolved around his fellow sorcerers. Non-sorcerers may as well be primitive animals.
“Where would I even go where I can’t walk away from you? I’m no longer welcome at Jujutsu High and….” Suguru couldn’t help laughing a bit, mostly because it would become no secret to anyone else. “I already got rid of my parents so my own house is out of the question! Haha…I guess I’m just living in the streets until I find another house.”
