Oh my goodness, everything about this chapter had set so many GOOD alarms in my head. Got me stayed up for the next an hour or two.

Just.. The world building is so interesting. The cross dynamics there is making my Samurai Rabbit and TMNT hyperfixation SO HAPPY. Just hooooolyyyy characterization, my eyes have been blessed.

And this is only the tip of the iceberg of what I think of this fanfic! I’d gush more about it, but I already look crazy enough ^_^;

But yeah! Just wanted to draw stuff based off chapter 16 and getting out of summer’s art block (it’s still fighting with me)

It seems fitting that there is a fanfiction I’m actively following: Ninjas Don’t Dance by @paymeinpikachus (I highly recommend this fanfiction). It basically inspired me to make this!

You can imagine my excitement when I found out that the actor’s voice sounds reaaaally similar to a CERTAIN RABBIT CHARACTER, if you know what I mean…

I have made minor edits to “My Scars Walk These City Streets” starting at chapter 2. It’s not that big a change, just a change in location. You’ll find a more detailed explanation in the AO3 notes on chapter 2. It’s nothing that drastically alters the story in any way. I didn’t want to say too much here in case anyone reading this only just started that story and i gave spoilers.

Everything is fine thank you! I’ve just been busy. The fanfics still being worked on, but I can’t post anything new yet, I’ve got a couple chapters that aren’t flowing together.

Soo… it’s been a while and honestly I just feel tired from work and a bit burnout but hopefully I’ll get through it soon and make more art!

Though I might not make as much art as I would love to make with how long it takes me to draw now, which if you don’t believe me I started this drawing in 2024… and I have just now finished it mostly do to me procrastinating and not liking the way I was drawing it but in the end it’s finally done hooray! So hopefully future drawings don’t take too long to finish.

Ahhh, I love this so much! I was actually looking this story over recently. I’ve said before I wouldn’t make changes to my works, but I’m kind of not happy with one location, and was tweaking it to see if I liked it better.

I’m also still working on Ninjas don’t dance, for those who have been keeping up with it. I had a bit of burnout myself (and then just no time to work on anything). But I’m happy to say I’ve made some more progress! I haven’t posted anything yet, but I’m hoping to get something out soon!

this is so random but I live when Leo is the “bad boy” in 2012 leoichi (he’s not but out of the two of them be absolutely is), and it’s kinda in your fic which i love. Like Yeha he’s absolutely a diligent student who gets too into school rule following dork (they’re both giant dorks, so precious!) BUT he also goes out of his way to start crap and sneaks out at night to a (possibly) illegal club and is literally a ninja, idk I just find it fun lol, keep being awesome! Ninjas Don’t Dance is AWESOME!!!!

Thank you, I’m glad you like it! Yeah Leo’s usually a goody two-shoes, but he’s also a teen and has a rebellious streak. It pops up a couple times in the 2012 show. I think he just gets stressed being team leader and needs an outlet
