when will I breathe like I used to, when we were apart

look through the clouded window

you fogged up my sight but I can’t leave you behind

oh how I hated you, how I devastated you

how are we alive

found myself awake in a hospital bed

almost hoping to see you, saw darkness instead

they all filled me in, as fast as they could

hadn’t left me to die, yet I wished that they would

cause everything’s you, it’s your life

and I never asked to let it seep into mine

drag me into your poisoned war

cause you’ll stay alive there while I fall

it’s almost poetic

the panic I’m in

it’s all ‘cause of you, and yet without everything

I’d fall even further and never be catching your eye

enough for me to finally decide

… so
