Meso finalized art. It's just a clean-up of my first doodle of them because they came out perfect and beautiful. I think it'd be really fun to have a whole series of sandstone critters one day, especially with some carvings included!

Lilytad final artwork. Rocks for brains

Lapelion! This is her final art. She went through a lot of redesigns relatively speaking. Looking at it now, the seed head was really cool and I'm not sure why I gave up. I do remember that I didn't go with the bipedal version cuz I realized that it'd be really weird to have a game where you own and breed things that don't look like critters, yknow?

I'm going to queue up all the finalized art I'd made and posted to twitter, so there'll be one a day! They'll continue in the order I drew them. This is Snek. I really wanted him to be a worm-snake-millipede but couldn't figure out a good pose for him, or a cute way to draw the legs. I ended up with this, but honestly I'm still not happy with it. Now I think I would erase the two legs and release this as a separate guy, and then retry making Sneggy (leggy+snake).

Oh god I have no idea how old this ask is! Sorry for taking so long. Absolutely you may, and I'd love to see it! To be honest, I'll be very surprised if the game does get released. Art has been hard to make ever since the pandemic and it's been slow going getting better :( I still love pawbin though, so I don't think I'll ever truly give up hehe

It's because they're intended for an adoptable game! So technically, once the game was released, anyone could get one. Also cuz it was very much supposed to be for the adoptable fanbase :y

Getting ready to make the finalized artwork for these guys and figured I’d make some thumbnails to help with pose ideas (and a little redesign thrown in here and there). 

Algie, finally finished kind of! I wonder, should the final artwork look like it’s standing in water? Or should it just look wet?

More work on the “roadrunner”, trying to find what works. I like these a lot better than the original, so we’re getting there! I think I’ll go with the white one, and add the bottom one as a separate creature possibly. Dyou think it looks too normal though? It’s a sacred ibis mixed with a roadrunner, so it’s Double Desert™
