just curious but how to you stop yourself from coming on too strong to new friends because they're like normal (unlike you) and don't share every waking thought in their head and get overly attached and intense after a short amount of time? asking for a friend, of course.

i found a candle tonight that i never burned from someone i will probably never see again and was hit with the biggest wave of melancholy. i'm confident i'm not missed, but i miss her even though out of the two of us, i should be the one that doesn't. life feels weird sometimes. it will pass.
