Patto's Pokemon Adventures

Last time I posted about this mentioned I was heading to Route 14, I did and found a Skorupi I thought would be useul for the Fairy Type Gym but sadly it wasn't haha, she didn't die but didn't do anything productive either :l basically did everything with Queen (Pyroar) since Ivy (the skorupi) didn't have a level enought to survive (yes, even to fairy types)

After the gym I ent to the Pokeball Factory to save the day ´u´!

Continued to the next route and found a male Pawniard I named Zangetsu eué and switched Ivy for him-- it was actually a good call since he has been way more useful than her, more than I expected! Anyway, the next was the Abandoned Hotel, found a magnemite I didn't name because I couldn't think of a good one, but meh I'll give it one if I ever need to use it. After that the next place to go was that route 16 I think? and found a female Pumpkaboo I named Silent ´u´! Didn't switch anyone for her tho.

When the area was clear I headed up to the Ice Cavern-- I can't remember if that's the name but that's what it is |D Found a Bergmite I didn't know how to name, but I just think of one: Steve, you know, because CAPTAIN AMERICA /shot anyway, for some reason, even when my team had higher levels than the trainers' in the area, it started getting kinda harder to beat them... when I was getting near the end of the cave... I found a battle girl with three (or two? cant remember) fighting type pokemon; at that point, Victoria (Florges) was kinda weak (was distracted and forgot to heal her) so I sent out Mirage (Swanna) because flying > fighting, but little I knew her pokemon had Rock Slide... causing... well...

;______________________________; I almost had a heart attack OTL you did it great baby I'm going to miss you ;___;

After that I went to the Snow Path (?) and found a Delibird, I thought it was a nice thing because FLY but Zangetsu accidentally killed it ´-´ the next one was a female Sneasel-- I think I named her but I forgot what it was haha D: but w/e, at some point Zangetsu evolved into Bisharp and I knew we were ready for the next gym eué before that we had to battle Calem again but as usual he got his butt kicked easily uvu the Gym Leader, on the other hand, was tricky; Zangetsu wasn't strong enough to beat them in one hit so they kept sleeping him, Victoria or Queen, or using Full Restores, but I won anyway eué

To continue with the storyline, I had to go back to Lumiose to find Lyssandre (whose name is Lysson in spanish, I don't know why, Lyssandre sounds more fancy and well, you know, makes sense). Everything was going fine, until I battled Team Flare Aliana ;_; her Druddigon... well...

Not much, just beat the grass type Gym basically just with Queen (Pyroar) and then proceeded to kick everyone's butt at Lumiose's Gym with Flynn (Vibrava) curiously Clemont is named Lem in spanish and his sister is Clem??? anyway, the next butt kicked by Flynn was Calem's at Route 14, making him evolve into Flygon ;v;!

After training for a while decided to challenge the next Gym with Mirage (♀ Ducklet) Lyn (♀ Mienfoo) Rem (♂ Helioptile) Victoria (Floette) Queen (♀ Litleo) and Knight (♂ Quilladin).

I have no idea why they named him Lino (Linen) isn't that supposed to be a soft fabric? Anyway, I thought it would be easy since I had a water type but I forgot Mirage was also flying type haha so she died kinda easily ._. fortunately I have the mercy rule of a maximum of 3 faints before being considered a death at gyms; unfortunately I didn't have any revives with me  so I couldn't keep using her in that battle anyway :l I used Knight, just for his level, and defeated Amaura. When he sent Tyrunt out I chose Floette because fairy > dragon, but I can't remember what move he used it dEFEATED FLOETTE WTF so I sent out Knight again and gave it a slow death with Leech Seed and other move I can't remember the name but it's a grass type xD after a couple of Super Potions from both sides I finally won x_X and moved on to the next route, there the first encounter was a Snubbull but I let it go since I already had a fairy type I really really like, and went for a second one, which was a male eevee I named Rubbick because I don't know what would I evolve him into if I ever need to use him.

Continued with my way to the next Gym through the Reflection Cave and tHERE IN A BATTLE AGAINST SOME TRAINER I CAN'T REMEMBER

Aw man I was just getting used to him ;__; I really like electric types, but I forgot this one was also a normal type so a fighting type user dude killed him OTL

Had to take a deep breath after this and continued with my way and found my first encounter, which was a Solosis! I named her Bubblegum. After a while I found a Battle Girl who nearly killed Victoria with a Sawk wtf fortunately I decided to evolve her just a few minutes before that so she survived, barely, but survived. This girl keeps giving me heart attacks o-|-<

After that, the next place to go was the Tower of Mastery where I had to battle Calem-- I won easily and Knight evolved into Chesnaught! Finally! I was bored of seeing that little funny looking spike ball xD it's cute but funny at the same time xD anyway, after that the next thing to do was to challenge the gym, but I thought my team wasn't ready, so I went to Route 12 to train a little and a MILTANK, A FRIGGEN MILTANK WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY ;___; she just learned her first fighting type move just a few moments after OTL stupid miltank-- it was my first encounter there but I didn't want to catch her I mean shE KILLED ONE OF MY BBYS so i slowly killed her with leech seed and rollout OTL after that I found a female Exeggcute I named Knives because I couldn't think on anything better OTL.

After some training I went back to Shalour City to challenge the gym

It was pretty easy with Mirage and Bubblegum |DDDD she even evolved to Duosion! after that I went to the Tower of Mastery again for the Mega Ring-- her lucario almost one-hit killed the one she gave me haha D: fortunately mine was faster, but it wasn't that important since as I said before I don't want to use pokemon NPCs give me unless I run out of pokemon I catch myself XD I named him Traitor for the lulz but if I ever need to use him I'm going to change it ofc eue"

Went back to Route 12 and some trainer, somehow... well...

;____; THIS WORLD HATES ME OTL 3 deaths in one day I'm a terrible trainer o-|-< at least Queen finally evolved to Pyroar, a thing that I couldn't enjoy very much because of Bubblegum ;___;

Anyway, had to go on U_U continued to Courmarine City, and found a Trapinch as first encounter at Route 13 *u* named him Flynn! I'm really glad it was the first to pop out since I already used a Garchomp to beat this game and I don't really like Dugtrios xD besides those are already evolved so what would be the point ´-´ After that I went back to the city to fight Calem, who got his butt kicked by my Pyroar's Echoed Voice haha, after that I saved the game and turned it off-- I'm pretty sure I can beat the next gym just with Queen but I think that's enough for today x_X Now, time to wrap things up:

Tried to stick with the plan of focusing on Queen to challenge the gym leader but when the three pokemon were at lv 12 I ran to the gym because I got bored xD wasn't gettint that much exp. in that area anymore.

(Name is different probably because the original could sound a little... "weird")

The plan was using Queen, but since I use to put my starter as first when challenging a gym, I thought I could weaken her first mon, Surskit with Knight and then switch to Queen to finish it and then fight her Vivillon... bUT I picked Rollout because I forgot bugs were weak to rock types haha D: killing her Surskit in the first two turns of the move and then Vivillon in one hit eue"

Route 4 was next, and the first encounter was a female budew but I accidentally killed (this time was literally an accident ._." I wanted to catch it but Knight overpowered it eue") I tried a second encounter and it was a Flabébé ;u; I was more careful this time and caught her!

A cutie red flabebe uvu which I named Victoria UVU After that I went visit the professor and got Charmander from him because WHY NOT I'm trying to not use pokemon I get from other people and I guess that includes NPCs.

Next was Route 5, where my first encounter was a male Furfrow that I named Ghirahim haha /shot bur I won't use him since I already have a normal type in my team (litleo) so I sent him to the PC as back up in case Queen dies.

On Route 6 the first encounter was a male Venipede, I caught him and named him Philip-- decided to switch Anastasia for him so I sent her to the PC to use the new bug/poison type, but I would have never guessed that a wild Espurr....

REST IN PIECES /sot as you can see, I didn't even get to get attached to him ._. I think I only got to use him like 3 times e_e" anyway, after completing the Poke Flute side quest, next was Route 7, where my first encounter was

A FEMALE DUCKLETT I named her Mirage-- sounds too fancy for a ducklett I know but I hope she gets to evolve eue It was really great to find her, actually, I really needed a flying and water type pokemon, so I was very lucky eué! I continued training the team in that route but then I found Calem, Tierno and Trevor for a team battle I didn't remember and friggen Tierno's corphish killed my Victoria D:< fortunately, when I woke up today I thought on a new Mercy Rule, which would be that if a Friend NPC defeated one of my Pokemon it wouldn't be considered a death since wHY WOULD YOUR FRIENDS KILL YOUR POKEMON, besides, in some of those battles they heal your mons so yeah.

After that I found a male Axew as first encounter at Zubat's Roost and named him Ike, but I sent him to the PC as backup pokemon. After that I found a male Inkay on the following area but I accidentally killed it ._. wanted to catch him and name him Yuga haha but eh he ded :/ I tried a second encounter and found a female Mienfoo! which was great because a fighting type will be really usefull for the next gym.

On my way to the Glittering Cave I found 2 sandiles as first and second encounters but I really didn't want to have a sandile since I already beat a game (Black Version) with one, so I went for the third encounter and it was...

a male Helioptile! (who makes these gifs and why do they leave so much space around it wth) It was kind of difficult to catch since it was raining and he has the Dry Skin ability o-|-< but I finally caught him and named him Rem! I don't know why, tho, it was the first thing that came to my head ´-´ anyway, I plan to include him in the active team but I still can't since I reached the Glittering Cave and it's a really long way back to the PokeCenter eue" and that's as far as I've gotten today, I didn't find any pokemon on the cave that I liked so I didn't catch any xD

(don't worry I won't post about it this often it's just for today xD)

To begin with, I chose Spanish as language to make things a little bit harder, because YES, even when that's my first language, I'm very used to the names of everything about pokemon in english, besides, 90% of the names in Spanish make no sense, I mean, Poison Sting is named Picotazo Ven which means Sting Come ¿¿¿¿???? wtf probably is the short for Picotazo Venenoso which is the literal translation of the english name, but maybe it was too long to fit? if that was the case, they should have picked a different name :/ but whatever) it's a little weird and nonsense but it makes it a little more fun, too uvu

Starter!

Chespin: Knight. Male and modest. Level 13 atm. For the first two times I completed the game I chose Froakie and Fennekin (in that order) so it was time for this little guy.

Beedril: Anastasia. Female and modest. Level 12 atm, beedrill evolve too early yo :| Anyway, the very first I found was Pidgey, but I've already completed a game with one (Heart Gold) so I "accidentally killed it" x'D caught this -once- Weedle at Santalune Forest at lv 2.

Litleo: Queen. Female and lax. Level 12 atm. I'm not feeling very creative for names tonight it seems x'D anyway, I was very happy when she showed up! because on the former area the first 3 encounters were literally bidoof so I "accidentally killed them" x'D I just don't like them eue.

I talked about this on the other blog and was thinking on making a side one for the thing but i remembered i had this one x'D but w/e now...

The Rules:

The player may catch the first Pokemon encountered in each area. If the first encounter is a Horde Battle, the trainer can choose which one to catch.

If the Pokemon is the same type as other already in the party, the trainer may choose if keeping both or pick one of the two. The chosen will remain in the party and the other will be sent to the PC. The later one can be used as back up in case the substitute faints.

If the Pokemon from the first encounter faints by accident or escapes, the trainer may try a second encounter, or even a third one, if necessary. If the three attempts fail, the trainer won't catch any other Pokemon in that area.

If a Pokemon from the party faints is considered dead and must be released (unless it's the starter because NO ahaha or any of the legendaries. I'll just send them to the PC because I'm weak.)

All caught Pokemon must be named for the sake of stronger emotional bonds.

A Black Out is considered Game Over, but since I have some complications with pokemon/items from former files I can't restart the game just anytime, so I'll just release all the pokemon from the party (except starter/legendary) and go catch new ones following the first three rules all over again.

In the rare case a shiny shows up the trainer can catch it even if it's not the first encounter because comE ON IT'S A SHINY but won't use it, unless it's the first encounter.

Mercy Rules:

If a NPC trainer happens to have pokemon with levels way higher than the trainer's and the whole party faints, it won't be considered a Game Over and it won't be necessary to release the Pokemon.

If the first encounter of an area happens to be with a Pokemon who's level is way higher than the trainer's and for some reason it's impossible to escape and the Pokemon faints it won't be considered a Game Over and won't be necessary to release the Pokemon.

Since I have some bad experiences with Gym Leaders, Elite Four and Champions, if a Pokemon faints a maximum of 3 revives can be used for each.
