A medical school dropout, Lee U Gyeom (Ryeo Un) who claims that he can cure all incurable diseases, is arrested by the police on charges of kidnapping two people with disabilities. During the investigation it is revealed that he has murdered people in the name of not only kidnapping but also human body testing.

A prosecutor, Chae Yeon (Keum Sae Rok), who wants to put U Gyeom to death for legal punishment for the unjust deaths of the people. And a lawyer Park Han Jun (Sung Dong Li) who must save Lee U Gyeom for his daughter, who has a brain tumor.

This dark, tragic and hypnotic piece of art depicts the journey of 3 mentally disturbed inmates who set out on a path to what they believe as the end of the world, with a bible and a picnic basket. Koko (Watabiki Miwa) is sent to the asylum after killing crows, believing the world was created when she was born and will end when she dies. She befriends Tsumuji (Asano Tadanobu), who killed his teacher for molesting him and is haunted by his ghost, and Satoru (Hashizume Koichi), a quiet man obsessed with the rules. The trio decides to leave the asylum and have a picnic to see the end of the world, walking on top of the longest wall that stretches to the sea, where their personal apocalypse unfolds.
