This page is a community project made up of submissions by members of the Path & Practice tag, server, and community. As such, the submissions shared here reflect the individual submitter's personal practice, experiences, beliefs, and framework (unless explicitly stated otherwise). Submissions should not be interpreted as representing the views or practices of the community as a whole.
Because this project is submission-based, it is not a single, cohesive grimoire or unified magical system. It is full of different methods, beliefs, cosmologies, and even contradictory advice. Please pay attention to each submission's tags, notes, and contextual information so that entries are understood within the tradition or framework from which they originate.
We welcome submissions from practitioners of a wide range of cultural, religious, and magical traditions. This may include educational discussions of closed, initiatory, or culturally specific practices. Such submissions are intended to inform and contextualize, not to encourage appropriation or unauthorized participation. Please engage with these contributions in good faith, respect the boundaries and wishes of the communities being discussed, and be mindful that not every practice is open to everyone.
Please exercise critical thinking and discernment. Consider the source, context, and background of each submission before incorporating any information into your own practice. Not every method will be suitable for every practitioner or compatible with every path.
Rules for Submission
1. Please include as much relevant context as possible. Whenever appropriate, please include information about the tradition, path, or practice your submission comes from; whether it reflects a personal practice, reconstructed practice, historical source, or community tradition; any cultural, religious, or regional context or influences that helps readers understand the material; and any important limitations, prerequisites, or information about the intended audience.
2. Please only submit work that you have created yourself or that you have permission to share. If your submission is inspired by, adapted from, translated from, or significantly based on another creator's work, please provide appropriate credit and, whenever possible, cite your sources. This includes books, articles, websites, teachers, and other practitioners whose work informed your own.
3. If you are sharing personal experimentation, unverified personal gnosis (UPG), shared personal gnosis (SPG), historical research, or established traditional practice, please make that clear.
4. Please do not submit instructions related to closed or initiatory practices unless you are authorized to do so within your tradition. Educational and contextual discussions are welcome, but they should respect the wishes and boundaries of the communities they concern.
6. Our goal is to build a resource that reflects the richness and diversity of our community. Differences in belief, method, and worldview are expected and welcomed. Please engage with one another respectfully, assume good faith, and recognize that multiple perspectives can coexist without diminishing one another.
