Patriots

On one hand, I knew it was inevitable. I always wanted to see Tom retire a Patriots, but given how things had been heading the last few years, it seemed less likely. Still, I'm sure all of us were hoping for one last run after the disappointing end to last season. I just hate that that will be the last memory of Tom's playing career in New England. On the other hand, I'm glad Tom got to leave on his own terms. And given the reports, I'm glad to hear it was amicable.

That being said, I am so grateful for the memories he has given us as fans. He is the greatest quarterback of all time, and I'm so fucking grateful he played for our team. 20 years man, not many people can say that. We have been so incredibly lucky and blessed. Don't take any of that for granted.

Anyways, I'm sure I'll expand on my thoughts some more later on, but if anyone is feeling down, upset, neutral, content etc. about this and wants to talk, hit me up. My inbox and chat are always open.

I'm petty, I know

Man, Vrabel has done a HELL of a job in back to back weeks. First us, and now the Ravens. They held both teams to under 14 points. Impressive.

I feel for Lamar though, I actually do like him as a player. Seems like a good kid.

That being said, if you would've told me in the beginning of the season that a Ryan Tannehill led team would be playing in the AFC Championship game, I would've laughed. Joke's on me I guess 😩😂

I get it.

Success breeds jealousy. I remember the outside sentiment of this team changing the more they won. It happens.

None of that takes away from what we've accomplished for nearly 2 decades. They can celebrate this the same way they've been celebrating our death for years. It's all they have. Be content in knowing what has been accomplished thus far and how good it all felt.

Like I said, and like I'll keep saying, we'll be okay.
