Are Your Clothes Telling the Wrong Story? Discover the Power of Upcycled Fashion with PATCHA
A Different Kind of Fashion Story
Clothes speak before you do. They tell people who you are, what you value, and how you see the world. But in todayâs world of fast fashionâwhere trends are temporary and garments are treated as disposableâour clothes are often telling the wrong story.
At PATCHA, we believe in telling a better one.
We create fashion that speaks of individuality, sustainability, and circularity. Each PATCHA piece has a past, a purpose, and a personalityâjust like you.
Meet PATCHA: From Waste to Wonder
Hi, Iâm Chloeâfounder of PATCHAâand my love for secondhand clothes started in my teens. There was something magical about wondering where a piece had been, who had worn it, and why it was loved.
I began selling vintage at 18, but deep down, I always imagined it would lead to something more.
That moment came in 2022 during a trip to Kenya. I saw firsthand the heartbreaking consequences of fast fashion. Over 900 million items of secondhand clothing flood into Kenya each year, and up to 40% end up as waste in landfills like Dandora.
It was a wake-up callâand also a beginning.
PATCHA was born out of frustration with fashion waste, a deep belief that clothes can be made differently, and a gut feeling that creativity could be the solution.
We Make One-of-a-Kind Pieces From What Others Discard
PATCHA is a circular and sustainable fashion brand. We take whatâs considered âend of lifeâ and give it a new beginning. Each PATCHA garment is made from upcycled materialsârescued, reworked, and reimagined into something completely unique.
Our pieces arenât mass-produced. Theyâre one-of-a-kind creations, just like you.
Whether itâs five discarded shirts reborn as a pair of travel trousers, or a pair of old cowboy boots turned into a bag with tassels and belt bucklesâeverything we make has a story to tell.
We work closely with tailors and traders in Nairobi to source pieces with untapped potential. This isnât charity. Itâs collaboration. Itâs circular fashion with real impact.
Patcha Trousers: Each Pair Saves Five Shirts From Landfill
Letâs talk about our trousersâthe heart of PATCHA.
Each pair is made from five upcycled shirts. Thatâs five garments saved from landfill, stitched together into something new and vibrant. Theyâre wide-leg, comfortable, with an elastic and drawstring waist. Theyâre great for travel, lounging, or just living your life a little more consciously.
You can shop mystery pairs by colourway, or choose an exact pair if one catches your eye. But if you fall in love with a pairâdonât wait. Each one is unique, and once itâs gone, itâs truly gone.

The Rodeo Bag: From Cowboy Boots to Statement Piece
We donât stop at clothing. One of our most exciting creations is the Rodeo Bag. Each one is made from damaged cowboy boots, with belt buckles and tassels added for flair.
These boots were too broken to wearâbut too full of character to throw away. So we turned them into bags. Strong, bold, and impossible to replicate.
Our latest drop? Double Denim Jacketsâcrafted entirely from 100% upcycled denim waistbands. Thatâs right: waistbands.
Theyâre structured, eye-catching, and full of attitude. No two jackets are the same, and each one is a fresh take on a classic look. If youâre tired of cookie-cutter denim, this oneâs for you.
