ADORING YOUR CHARACTER!!!!!!

    “That’s a…” she drifts off, eyes wide. Whatever she’d been expecting to see springing out of the marsh… the ferocious-looking bug/water dual-type had definitely NOT been on the list. “That’s a Golisopod. I’ve seen them before in the Wild Area in Galar… but what’s one doing here?”

    The hard scale pokémon extends its claws as it squares off before Eren’s Feraligatr. They must’ve interrupted it while it was meditating; it certainly doesn’t look pleased. 

    She gently touches her companion’s shoulder. “Eren, that’s considered an invasive species here in the marsh. We have to catch it before it throws the entire ecosystem off-balance!”

Maybe it was the calm before a battle, or it was hearing the word “have” that came out of the champion’s mouth, but the usual panic he felt when he was squared off against something strong had dulled down as his eyes were focused on what was needed. This pokemon, needed to be caught. 

The look of someone....who was ready to fight. 

“Veldora, Ice-punch.”  The attack name echoing in the ears of the large, gator pokemon as ice began to swirl around it’s fists before it went and launched the first physical attack onto the body of the large, ferocious bug/water pokemon, sending it back as the pokemon around the marsh began to take heed from this battle ensuing. 

“Another case? Again? How many are you going to take up???” 

The holocaster upgrade to his Xtransciever displayed a blue-ish visage of a young woman, possibly around the same age as Nate, clearly visibly upset at the agent. Could she have called at a worse time? He was just about to reach the cave he needed to check up on and she was already virtually yapping his ear off. Nate paused, then looked at the woman, trying to hid the slight annoyance he was feeling at the moment.

“Look, I know this looks like I’m procrastinating on our case, but it’s a favor. They got some-”

“Favor? I swear Nate, you need to stop making these favors! You know I can get my dad to…”

Her dad? Arceus, he was not gonna hear about this again. Better hang up

“Sorry Bea, gotta go. I’m at the spot now. Rotom, sign off.” The ghost in his wrist gave a buzzed giggle as it cut out the holo feed, though not in time to stop the girl on the other side of yelling out a “NATE!” before going silent.

With that conversation out of the way, Nate began his work, releasing several pokeballs out at once. “Alright, we’re gonna have to look out for traps here, see what we’re dealing with. You know the drill, don’t trip them off until we know how to dismantle them, and try not to disturb the local wildlife.”

Unbeknownst to Nate or anyone else around, his Gengar had already found someone! Sneaking up behind young man in hiding, the ghost didn’t hesitate one bit to make his next move… poking his head through the notebook that this stranger was writing in!

Eren was just minding his business, waiting for his anti-poacher trap to go off while writing in his notebook.....and yet there was SOMETHING coming from the notebook and it made him nearly just lose all control of his body as he freaking screams! Though, this was not the only visible concern to happen as he had not been left to his own devices. From under, came from the ground to try to strike with black cloaked fists at the sudden ghost pokemon was the round rolling ground/rock pokemon itself, golem! 

“GOL!” 

    “They’re not usually… though they always seem more invigorated when it rains.” While it’s not raining currently, the area had experienced some light showers just before they’d arrived. “It’s possible that one’s ability was Swift Swim. Just be grateful it didn’t mistake you for lunch. They like to catch prey by wrapping their tongues around it… it’s kinda gross.”

    When Eren is back up on his feet, they resume their trek across the marsh. “Careful around the darker-looking puddles. They tend to be a lot deeper than they look.”

“Maybe. It sure was fast for a lil’ guy. Well, I won’t get the jump on me a second time! I am gonna catch at least one thing today!” He was confident that he and his Pokémon could capture something before they make it to the next town as the champion’s escort. He was just thrilled to be able to be in the presence of someone so important! 

A puddle next to them seem to move a bit at the surface, as he was ready as he held out a pokeball this time, opening it to go and let out his large feraligatr who was ready for the call. “Alright palpitoad, you won’t jump me this time!” He was ready for round two, as the water slushed upward as the Pokémon came flying out of the water........

and it was not what he had expected to see. It was a large, almost humanoid shaped Pokémon in steel, silver armor and sharp claws that looked like it could slash anything! IT LOOKED TERRIFYING!!!! 

nevermind that he has no idea how he arrived in that region, he must’ve fallen asleep in a ship again, which is by the way something he should stop before he ends up in a place worse than that.

ewww, it’s so cold, and so ugly, too, it’s not like the beautiful desert with its sunsets, so he should get going. he stopped when he heard someone screaming, a boy apparently being chased by a gengar, which is not something he usually sees. he gave a step to the side and grabbed him by his clothes.

…………?

The pressure of being grabbed was surprised, as he looked to him, now stopping as they said nothing to each other. It was a awkward silence, till the gengar finally caught up and was charging up another shadow ball to launch at the boy. Shaking out of this silence, he spurred into action. 

“Why are you grabbing me?! Ahh, screw it! Go, Veldora!” He grabbed a pokeball swiftly as it opened up, a large blue light emerging as it formed into the large, light blue crocodile Pokémon with red scales across it’s back with it’s ferocious teeth on display. The shadow ball was fired, as his trainer gave a command. “Liquidation!” Water surrounded the crocodile Pokémon, flying up as it smashes the shadow ball, and slamming into the gengar.

“Aww come on, you know the drill. Girl’s aren’t into me.” 

“This time, this time for sure!” He had been chasing this little guy for ages, and now he was going to rightfully catch it before it went and dipped on him again! And this annoying encounter that he had been chasing for ages in the isle of armor was....!!! ...An Abra. It kept teleporting away from him. 

“Why is it chasing me?!?!!” He had gotten a wonderful tip on his desire to get stronger, and that was to make a trip to galar and check out the wild area! A simple and vastly large area where tons of pokemon live! He could catch a bunch of them at this rate! Well, he would....if this random gengar hadn’t looked his direction and began to chase his ass down!!!!

“Oh, if there is a issue persisting in your community i’d be happy to help with it! I’m fairly new on the job, trying to expand and create new conservations outside of johto to the other regions!” 

Give it two seconds to realize who he is talking to.......

     Truthfully, Serena has always made and effort to avoid wandering off in the direction of voices that ring through the wilderness. Be it out of fear of endangering herself, or years of Sinnohan folklore continuing to cling to the front of the heroine’s mind– never has she given herself the opportunity to pursue something so risky. That is, of course, until now– when singing hits her ears, a look is exchanged between herself and Florges standing loyally by the trainer’s side, and something within the young woman decides that perhaps this time could be an exception. This land is usually free from other people, after all. The thought of another individual being here, why it is enough to make the blonde’s heart sink deep into her stomach. In her mind, they are lost, or up to nothing particularly ethical.

     So, perhaps it is unsurprising that, when a hardened stare falls upon the ground before her, and notices a few discrepancies between it, and what she has passed by moments ago, a deep frown settles on pale features. A trap, most certainly, but what sort, Serena cannot tell– not when the cover remains in tact. Her head lifts, scanning the area around her. That voice from nearby– of that, she is certain. And it seems the fairy-type by her side agrees, a hushed, short trill leaving her form as though the two might be on the same wavelength. An unwise move it way be to confront someone who, by all means, could be here to hunt pokemon, but to sabotage what lies before her could be equally as dangerous.

          “…I know someone is near. Was this your doing?”

Finishing writing his notes in his notebook, closing it promptly with the sensation that someone had approached his radius. Now, to see if it was a poacher, a pokemon, or someone else who was simply on their way here. Simple enough to alert others of the trap or another pokemon to warn them as well with one of his, though he didn’t expect someone to notice him nearby. 

Guess he had been too noisy prior to it, or they had a aura sense like he did. 

- Pure White -

Though this eye color is white, this does not mean that the eyes are completely blank, contrary to more popular ideas. Instead, they blend only slightly with the iris, with slight tints of blue like freshly fallen snow. Known for giving kind, cheerful expressions, these eyes represent purity. What most (but not all) with this mythic eye color lack in physical strength, they make up for in kindness and strength of mind.
