Once, many years ago my father told me that the corner store near us had 'Octopus ice cream' I got so excited about this strange treat that the next day I walked 3 miles to that corner store. I asked if they had the 'Octopus ice cream' and I went home disappointed when the clerk told me they didn't have 'Octopus ice cream'.
Moral of the story: Don't lie to kids.

The sun glares caught in a snare. The sky gone now beneath a cloud of despair. Witness now the end of clean sky, where every breath breathed is toxic without care.

A 14,000 ft (14er) peak I hiked back in mid 2012.
The hike was so inspirational and the view from the top can't be beat!
Aside from hiking Rim to River to Rim in the Grand Canyon, this peak was by far the pinnacle of my hiking career!

So, I've gotten this question a lot irl and through online friends.
What does it feel like to have schizophrenia?
1. Feels like there is something behind me at all times, something horrible and unmentionable.
2. During delusions it feels good to believe them because it feels like I have all the answers in the universe.
3. Imagine a nightmare you can't wake from. While symptomatic I couldn't speak, blinking was a chore and could only move my eyes in a fixed distance. Essentially waking catatonic while experiencing delusions and hallucinations.
4. Final bit about it. While on medication I feel numb to just about everything, indifferent and only experience emotions in extreme conditions. I feel desensitized. Laughing is putting on a show, smiling is an act so to speak. Lastly there is the constant feeling that something with me is off, like an ich I can't scratch.
I wouldn't wish this disease on my worst enemy.

today I went to a pokémon drawing contest with a good friend of mine
I just doodled a bunch of pokémon I like (and a digimon). It was fun nwn
I was given an honorable mention, which basically is like coming in third place lol

A bit about my Coyote fursona OC, Elijah Riverbreeze:
-Loves running through the desert.
-Belongs to a tribe of Kokopelli.
-Would probably win an archery competition.
-Smells like creosote resin after a rainfall event.
-Favorite food, prickly pear fruit.
-Height 6'4', same as my height.
-Not a fan of rattlesnakes, no phobia but just keeps his distance.
-Title: Rain dancer. For the tribe he helps conduct shamanistic rituals and vision quests.
-Lineage: Born from a Kokopelli waterbearer mother (Riverbreeze). Son to his father, (Elijah) a strange coyote spirit with many forms.
-Lean build, 175 lbs.
-Would talk for hours to someone about how alive the world is with natural magic and wonder.
That's most of it! Had fun doing this, might do an update post in case I change aspects of Elijah Riverbreeze.

Well... Sailour will talk about how she feels abt the LGBT community itself, and trust me, she is capable of going on for ages.
Harbour could go on about why she thinks she's insignificant to the world, confidently.
Conri would either be like Sailour or Harbour, or talk about how nobody treats him right.
