I am disabled, and I don't have a job, so I have time to blog! I am trying to take some remote classes, so I won't have infinite time.

sorry i haven’t posted much over christmas. small stray population issue, but it’s all good, so don’t worry too much about it!

got scratched trying to handle the strays so now ive gotta keep the others isolated from me for now, but that should be resolved soon! yes they are used to me getting scrapes and such, i made sure that training was done as soon as i could, but now they get deeply worried when i bleed and it’s a separate issue. they’ve tried to separate bella from me in the past which is less than helpful!

good morning everyone!
finals are upon us! i unfortunately will be focused on those for the foreseeable future.
it snowed yesterday! :D

The bloodfiends are not a huge fan of the snow, so I can't let them outside for a while. "What about Artist" I hear you asking. Well, Noodles is VERY protective of Artist, and won't let him go into the snow either. Plus, he's very good at hiding, so I'm worried I won't be able to find him.

It's Thanksgiving break! As you can see, the Limbis are happy as well. They've already made themselves at home!

It’s not often I can go out to class and come back to see these guys all huddled together! They accepted Artist into their family with ease, so I’m glad they’re all getting along, but boy is it stressful sometimes!
I remember when Noodles was very against Artist joining her little family, and then one day she wouldn’t even let me pick him up without biting at me! That was quite some time ago now.
Had a test in one of my classes today, and I think my best potential score was a 50%… which is unfortunate but that’s how it is sometimes! Database systems are just waaaay to complicated for me.

He barely cares for his well-being even though they are currently having their blood sucked through their eyepatch.

As good as blood is for Bloodfiend types, you really shouldn't give them your own. It makes them a lot more violent. And I know Mimi isn't quite a bloodfiend, but its similar enough.

Mimi is actively drinking his blood, though -- that "anyone" doesn't include himself? That seems like a more concerning thing to focus on.
I get the feeling like he's Hong Lu from where I'm from. Always smiling even through unbearable pain, and if you don't feel the pain, does it really exist?

Mine specifically? I mostly have Bloodfiend Limbis-- oh, Artist isn't really a bloodfiend, but he's been adopted... (Pastel rambles for a bit, the exact wording isn't relevant.)
Lemme go get Noodles, she's been irritated since I got a new Bloodfiend, so she might not be the friendliest.

This is Noodles! Her hair kinda reminds me of noodles, so I named her that. I think I was hungry when I got her, haha.

(Pastel tilts her head. Meanwhile, Noodles stares Sancho in the eyes, unblinking, before slowly and deliberately moving to bite Sancho's thumb, still making eye contact the whole time.)
[Sancho instinctively pulls their hand back, but then she notices the cardboard cutout of Father Quixote]
...Why do you have a cutout of Father?

(A beat.)
What do you mean, "Father"?
Oh, nothing. Just looks familiar to a person I know dearly.
[Sancho gets up and inspects the cutout more closely, pressing the button and visibly cringes after the catchphrase is said]

(Pastel laughs a bit as Sancho cringes. Then, they turn towards the enclosure a second before a small scream is audible.)

(Pastel picks Noodles back up and walks with a brisk pace -- once arriving, they place Noodles back down. It seems Artist is not a fan of the newest addition to the family.)
