Miles in his first start for Palmer Trinity High School. He did great!! Five innings pitched(called after five due to ten run rule) two hits allowed, no walks, no runs and of course the win. Congratulations Miles!!

Enjoyed our annual holiday gathering at Cambier Park in Naples, Fl.

If you like it really cold our house was the place to be!! Low last night was 13 degrees with a wind chill of 7 degrees. The good news no pipes burst. The not so good news our household heat can not keep up. We’re freezing!!!

Tonight we are expecting temperatures, at our altitude, in the single digits. Snow today and expected tonight. Can’t believe we’re still up here to “enjoy”freezing our you know what off!!!

Today I had my last wound care visit here in Waynesville. I’ve gone every Tuesday since we’ve been here. I already have my next appointment scheduled for next week in Miami at the Baptist Hospital Wound Care Center. Slowly, slowly, slowly healing!!

Lunch today in Asheville at the historic Grove Park Inn. The picture above was our view. What am I drinking? Of course a fantastic sangria!!

Today we decided to go into Asheville and have lunch at the Grove Park Inn. Before going to the Inn, we stopped at the Grovewood Gallery and I’ve included a few pictures of the special artistic pieces on display.
