PARASITECORE
Hello. I’m Max, the creator of Parasitecore.
What is parasitecore?
Parasitecore is an “aesthetic” centered around vent art that treats our mental illnesses as parasites or the attitude that you are a vessel for a parasite or a demon and you are possessed by something that makes you act the way you are, and that’s why people without the parasites/demons treat you lower than them. This is inspired by some of the thoughts that I have had when I was in manic episodes, breaking down, or having panic attacks.
Imagery
• Parasites coming from orifices like mouth, nose, ears, eyes, or the head.
• Throwing up
• Thin, almost inhuman figures with no eyes and no hair
• Gore related to parasites
This is not to romanticize mental illness, but rather to make a space to be able to vent about our mental illnesses and share our experiences with panic attacks or dissociation
This is meant to make a community that doesn’t shame others experiences with mental illness
This is kinda like traumacore
